Funny you say that, I told my buddy the same thing! But I will say, props to Finebaum for not making that an obvious. With his job, he shouldn’t make politics part of his personality.
A quick Google search shows Melvin makes roughly $4 million a year, which in San Francisco is probably like $2.5-3 after taxes; meanwhile, Tony V makes roughly $3 Million a year. So easy fix: give the man an extra million and call it a day.
I also think part of it is the Trump effect. He was rich and famous and has had success, so now others think “why the Hell not, it worked for him and I got the money.”
Anyone got a good horror novel they’d recommend as we enter October? I just read The Hunger by Alma Katsu. It was on a list I stumbled upon, but it was a major let down.
Meh. I still stand by my assessment from last night. I think Bama is good, but I don’t think they’re great. And I don’t think this is the UGA of old. We let them beat us because we got scared, they are not as strong as they look. So I’m not overly worried about that Bama game outside of us...
Not if Bama makes it the championship game and wins (which I don’t think either of these two scenarios happens). But if you trust the committee to not screw us at the expense of Bama, then be my guest.
I don’t think Bama blows us out and I also think we have a real chance of winning. It should be a good game, especially if we go in injury free minus the ones already out. But if it comes down to a 2-loss SEC Champ Bama and a 2-loss UGA, I think they put them both in over us.
Edit for the...
TN won’t make it in if it comes down to us plus those 4. Especially if it’s 2-loss us and a 2-loss UGA and/or Bama, even if we beat Bama in Tuscaloosa.
Basically, we gotta win out to get in.
