I've been in cpap since Dec 2022. While it's been a life saver (literally) , it can be a pita too. When I got referred for my sleep test I was only getting about 1.5 hr sleep a night. I was constantly falling asleep during the day. I could be in the middle of talking to you and just pass out...

I listened to a podcast a while back that had one of the higher ups in this guy's groups on it telling about him. Some of the stuff seems legit and good ideas, but the Hof guy also has a few screws loose. Some of the stuff he'd do were f'n nuts.

He's likely got a tinfoil hat, and believes in a flat earth too.

Makes sense, I haven't seen it, but what I've heard about it while it was in development was interesting. Supposedly it started as a Star Wars movie in the very early stages, but when all the SW movies fell through several years ago it was rewritten as something different.

First intelligent thing I've seen from a company in a while. They didn't knee jerk cut him loose. They allowed the legal system to work and then only after being found guilty did they boot him.

Yeah that was a great show and I was disappointed to see it go. It fell victim to coming out at the very beginning of the dvr/streaming Era. The networks didn't have a way to quantify viewership ratings for people not watching it live. It's time slot was against some established powerhouse...

Pretty much. I agree it'll go to one extreme or the other. I don't see it finding a middle ground.

Watched first 2 episodes last night. It seems pretty good. I'd just listened to a podcast about Bass Reeves a few weeks ago. So far the podcast and this TV show ain't hugely off from one another.

I've just taken my 8th dose of mounjaro last night. I'm on the 2.5mg dose. My doctor tried to get me approved for ozempic/wegovie back when I was only pre-diabetic. My insurance refused to cover wegovie, and would only cover ozempic if I was actually diabetic. I got diagnosed as a type 2...

Yeah I agree, there were some parts that could have been executed better, but all in all it was a very solid show. It laid a lot of groundwork for things to follow.
