Probably the weakest team we have had in a while.

Awaka’s averaged twice as many minutes in his two years at Arizona (20 mpg) than he did at TN (10 mpg). He still gets his share fouls for sure, but it doesn’t hold him back from leading the team by a good margin in rebounding. He’s also the best 6th man in CBB IMO. Dewayne Brown has great hands...

i believe a lack of playing time while at TN was more of an issue than money and that’s why they moved on. It’s two positions we could really use players of their quality.

They’re about as good on the basketball court as the football team was on the field. Sorry, but whether you like it or not that’s average. Well what happens next week when it counts the most. My guess is we’ll be done the first weekend.

Ha! I started a thread back in December about how this team sure could use Carr and Awaka and several geniuses on here mocked me and totally downplayed their transfers. Pretty sure I’ve been proven right. OP is correct because this is a very average team, I’d equate it to being about as good...

I thought the NBA tournament courts were in ugliest I’d seen…

I thought about mentioning Oregon in my OP.

Good. Maybe I can watch Iowa Sate vs Arizona today without my eyes hurting from that hideous court.

    Rebuilding year

What are we rebuilding from? Not beating a decent team on the 2025 schedule? If 2026 is a rebuilding year then Heupel won’t be here for 2027.

Elander makes bold statement about bats.

Evidently the folks questioning some of Elander’s tactics don’t read Volquest. They treat the guy like he’s the second coming. I guess getting inside information comes with a price.

    Events that changed UT history.

Spencer Haywood signing with Tennessee and then not getting in school. If admitted he easily becomes one of the best players in SEC history.

It’s less money by quite a bit.

UK had 6 men on court last nite against A&M

League’s pathetic “it just means more” motto evidently carries over to the number of players UK has on the court 🤷

If you believe that then you need to listen to Vitello’s opening spring presser with the Giants.
