That sounds good, but there's more at play here. This is Tennessee's 5th loss this season when leading by double digits. It's bigger than Ament being out.
Waiting on the excuses that blowing double-digit leads is part of the game because it's a game of runs. In more than half of Tennessee's losses, they have led by double digits.
It happens, but to think it's normal for it to happen as much as it does to Tennessee, I think that's inaccurate. Even previous Tennessee teams didn't have this issue to this degree. Probably just a youth thing.
Should have beaten a lot more teams by double digits (I can think of 2 versus KY), but they seem to typically let teams back in games for whatever reason. It is a pretty consistent issue. To be fair, those dubs against TX and Louisville were decades ago lol.
