Incredible day to be an Everton supporter. Essentially secured PL survival, ended Liverpool’s title hopes, beat Klopp in his final derby, and snapped a 14 year winless streak in home derbies all in one day. Doesn’t get much better than that.

    The SNL Thread.......

They make fun of what’s making headlines in the news. If Trump had receded into the background after losing in 2020, he wouldn’t have remained a fixture on the show. Now he’s back on the ticket and it’s an election year. Obviously they’re going to have sketches about him, just like they have for...

I honestly have no idea. If Liverpool had no recourse earlier this year when VAR realized a verifiable procedural mistake about 10 seconds after play restarted, I don’t think Forest have many options to contest judgement calls after the match has ended. Maybe boycott the PL by playing next...

Good banter from Crystal Palace after Forest took to Twitter to complain about VAR after today’s match. In fairness to Forest, I’m not sure how they didn’t get a PK from the third review. The other two could have gone either way.

Massive win for Everton today. Maybe not all the way safe just yet, but very close now. Two points should do it from here on, and if we can’t get two points from Brentford/Luton/Sheff U, we don’t deserve to stay up anyway.

Not that it’s going to make any difference, but I’ve enjoyed seeing so much pushback on all the changes to the FA Cup starting next year. Eliminating replays completely sucks for everyone who isn’t one of the Big Six, especially the lower league clubs. And playing the final on the next to last...

That’s probably curtains on the title race. City haven’t lost in any competition since early-December, so kinda tough to see them throwing the lead away now that they have it.

Rough day for the English teams in Europa League.

    SEC locations

I wouldn't want to live in Nashville even if I had unlimited money. It's even more of a trafficky hellscape than Atlanta, which is really saying something. At least Atlanta has MARTA, so you can park OTP and ride into downtown. Of the SEC towns I've visited, Lexington is the winner for me...

First 15 minutes of these games has not disappointed. Why has Pep chosen the CL QF as the time to rotate his keeper?

One thing that Paramount Plus does well is to have a split screen feed where they cycle back and forth between the commentary as exciting things happen in each game. But...you're right. It's bad enough that these are QF matchups. They could have at least put them on different days.

Any of you guys end up going to the fan fest in Nashville?

They hit a rough patch about six weeks ago, but have turned it around recently. Seem to be peaking at just the right time. Hope they can do it.

    Buc-ee's

Would strongly advise everyone to avoid the one in Sevierville on Sunday mornings. Stopped in for gas and a few snacks on my way home from South Carolina a few weeks ago, and between the amount of people at Bucee’s and the standstill on the Parkway of people leaving from the weekend, it took me...

I wonder if he just told them he wasn't interested. Hard to blame him if so. He's only been managing a couple of seasons, and probably has a bright future ahead of him. Being the guy that follows Klopp is going to be tough.
