For some reason the stats I pulled were SEC play only, 35% from deep and 55% from the line.

No, he had some great games sure, but overall averaged less than 14ppg, shot sub 35% from 3, sub 60% FT and was around 53%efg. When I say absolute bucket I’m talking in the realm of Walter Clayton which Chandler was not.

That duo combined for a touch over 35ppg, I think Kobi & Ament will be close to that number.

I’ll be curious to see how much 2 man games Ament/Kobi play, because the staff is also in love with Kobi just as much and feel like he’s an absolute bucket at the PG spot that they’ve never really had here.

Yea as you said a lot can change, but going off preseason outlooks I won’t be shocked if Illinois is favored or that’s a pick em’. Every metric and poll I’ve seen pretty much has them Top 10 while most have us outside the Top 15 and some even have us unranked.

I could see a scenario where we are dogs to Illinois and close to pick em’ against Louisville

I just kind of standard go 12-6 now in SEC play, and then OOC I see around 11-2 is what I hope for, could see 10-3 but maybe hope for 1 more win in league play then…how I got to 23-8.

Doesn’t feel any different than recent years, it definitely starts out tough, but make it through the first half and should be able to string some wins together the back half.
