SIAP and a little off topic. Just wondering if anyone saw the child like twitter responses of Caleb Azubike. If you are bored at work like I am, and you are in need of some entertainment I would suggest looking at his twitter.
So the team regressed during one of the hardest stretches of games in recent history. During that time we lost our junior QB, and we had to go with a true freshman. Worley was improving when he got injured. Sure, he doesn't have the intangibles to be a SEC qb, but he was progressing on what...
We would have been nailed with heavy recruiting penalties. Not to mention what he told Tajh Boyd and Bryce Petty. The only positive about if Kiffin were to stay is that Dooley would have never been here. I am dumbfounded at this thread.
That is like saying the section 8 homes in Nashville are more attractive because they splashed fresh paint on them. At the end of the day they are still section 8 homes and Vandy is still Vandy.:olol:
That is a very respectable answer. Just want some of the less intelligent Vandy fans to see that the success the program has seen recently doesn't equate to the success that Tennessee is used to. Vanderbilt has done well recently for their standards but 8-4 seasons does not impress long time...
Only difference the USCjr win for us and the wins for Vandy, is that we injured Shaw not some team in a previous game. Florida and Georgia were depleted when Vanderbilt University of Battered Women (too soon?) played them. We caused an injury that won us a game, they were handed injury riddled...
That's exactly my point Vandy fans think that they have "arrived". Arrived to what mediocrity? The teams that they have beaten are so depleted due to injury that an asterisk should be put right beside the W in the win column for Vanderbilt.
I can see academically why Vanderbilt is attractive. Other than that I see nothing. Tennessee just upgraded its facilities and has a stadium that seats 102,455 fans. I have one question to any Candy fan...What do you want to see out of your team long-term? Championships? Or just being an...
Not trying to argue your point one bit. But where does Vanderbilt go after Franklin departs? Even with its recent successes. Vanderbilt does not have the facilities, history, or fanbase to sell to a proven coach. Vanderbilt will always be Vanderbilt.
Tennessee football is still relevant even at the worse of times. We have helped to build the most powerful conference in the NCAA. All the while you were riding our coattails. And by the way look at recruiting this year to find the relevancy of Tennessee football. We have gone through years...
