I’m wondering if the staff like his versatility to potentially move inside. Flipping this guy and letting SC overpay Gray would be totally fine with me.
The way AP is tiptoeing around this… "We don’t think he’s made a final decision."
Really? He’s set a date but he doesn’t know? AP is playing the game. He’s good at it.
Recruiting is fluid and all that, but based on all info available I think we are the current leaders.
Yeah the flip side of the Canadian thing is he’s felt none of the influence of UT until he got here. But it’s way early and we’re up the street from him. We’ll have every chance to compete here. And if not, that’s why we’re pursuing Hiter.
I think Watkins would be a perfectly adequate replacement for Sneed.
But Watkins is trending Vol rn, and Sneed ain’t. That’s how dude reached his conclusion of Watkins is better.
He quoted LSU’s On3 writer I believe regarding the increased offer. That in itself doesn’t mean much, and I think there’s a reason AP and them have been saying they’d take the field over LSU here, maybe a fractured relationship. Hopefully. LSU is a pretty attractive place for WRs rn. But I think...
He’s now a full time ILB. These big safeties are more the exception than the rule. Wyatt would prob be better served long term to train as a LB or Leo from the jump. I have no issue with how the staff handled it at all tho. Get the commitment. Figure the rest out later.

Not picking on D4H tho, I tend to prefer eccentricity over the hive mind anyways.
lol. This kid already has a SEC-ready build as opposed to Abrams who is a toothpick at this stage. But he comes from a very run heavy scheme and is unproven as a passer thus far.
Abrams could have issues adding weight to his frame, or he could bulk up to 230 and be an absolute beast. Who knows...
