Yeah Toni Kukoc, Peja Stoyakovic, Tom Chambers, and dozens of other stretch 4’s who are perimeters oriented weren’t worth it. I was hoping he’d turn into a Chambers type player but he was worth a shot for sure.
Mental toughness?!? Have you been a Vol fan long? Have you seen Fulky play? He’s had his 🍑 chewed, dealt with Covid and more freaky injuries than anyone in the NCAA in the 11 years he’s been a Vol. he’s plenty tough! Maybe as tough as they come imho.
I totally agree with this! He’s been consistently playing guys 2-3inches taller and 20-40lbs heavier his entire career. He shouldn’t have to play the 5 a single minute next season. Happy to see him back
They run the variations of the same offenses Gonzaga, Kansas, and Mich State run. So it’s far from outdated. The recruits are fine. The weakest part of our program is the 3% of the fan base that have little basketball IQ whom would rather pile on criticism instead of sharing encouragement.
No not even close. Go back and listen to Coach Barnes and English in press conferences. They wanted him off the ball so he could get more shots. Most of the time he would bring it up and reverse the ball he’d never see it again. KJ & JS were supposed to be the primary PG’s this year but they...
Absolutely right. His numbers would‘ve been better if the other two guards didn’t turn it over 8-10 times a game. He HAD to be the primary ball handler. I don’t understand all the hate he gets. He practically SAVED our a#%¡es last year. He’s a terrific player. Plus he will be here 4 years
