Why are you throwing her name out there? I doubt you have seen any of these girls play in person. Hurst is the best outside hitter in the state for volleyball and I’m pretty sure she’s the 2x State Miss Volleyball. She’s an exceptional athlete and a smart gritty player. I think Kim will love her.
I didn’t compare him to Grant. I was trying to describe the type of deep post looks this guy can get similar to what you would see during Grants career. I could have said the way a healthy Fulky got touches also. Or Olivier or occasionally Aidoo and Tobe.
This is a great get! With him (and hopefully JP) we will see a lot more of those deep paint touches earlier in the offense. Think back to Grant Williams deep post days
Very similar defensively but not really close offensively. They throw it in to post players for them to actually try to score. We didn’t have that luxury without JP this year.
I agree but they are very different players. ZZ is very physical while Huff is more elusive. The Trey Bondham kid at UTC is more like ZZ but I think he is out of eligibility.
I’m excited that another Tennessee kid is coming back to wear Orange but I am curious about our recent run of this with Key, Gainey, Chaz, JaKobi, and even Bowden.

Did they not want to come to UT out of high school?
Or...

I’ve been listening to the Vols on the radio for as long as I can remember. I’ve had the pleasure of having John Ward and Bill Anderson for 1st 27 years of my life, and Bob & Bert for the last 26. Doubt there are many athletic programs , Pro or College, that have been so blessed. Good luck Mike...
