I think the onside kick should be considered a classy move. Onside kicks are only recovered 24% of the time, so we gave Kent St a 76% chance to start with great field position. Seems pretty sympathetic to me, not cruel. Its only cruel we didn't do it for every kick off for the remainder of the game.
College Football News came out with their final rankings (except for UConn/Purdue obviously) and the morons put us at 5th, behind Illinois, a team we beat and got smoked in the Elite 8 by 25 pts, and Alabama, a team we beat twice. I guess they should stick to football.
Has that ever happen before? I know Bama and NC State were in the Final Four, but we had a better record than them and we beat them both head-to-head.
Who would you have ranked ahead of us besides UConn and Purdue? Houston? UNC?
I didnt think it was possible, but Pearl has made me hate another college basketball team more than Kentucky. The guy is a proven cheater and I wish nothing but bad things for that piece of human garbage. I dont care what he did while he was at UT, he undid it all when he cheated. The school...
100% agree. We will end the season on a 4-game losing streak which would have been a 6-game losing streak if we didnt get lucky and played Vandy with their back-ups. I wonder how many tournament teams have ever done that. We will end up in the 8/9 or 7/10 game and some good mid-major or middle...
I have not seen an offense so inept in all my life. No identity whatsoever. I feel pretty good about the small wager I put on Auburn winning this thing straight up. I love my Vols, but there are certain things in life - death, taxes, and we are Bruce's biotch.
I really hate that our leading scorer avgs 11 pts a game. Is there any other team in the Top 25 or even Top 50 with a stat like that. Its great that we share the scoring, but we also need someone to step up to stop the bleeding.
