If coaching was all he had to do he’d be a great college choice. We all know there is so much more to do. Don’t see him traveling at a rate to bring along a program that is mid range at attracting talent.
Having an amazing LB group coming in makes it much easier to trust the evaluation of this recruit. Don’t see him as a day one guy with Carter and Telander playing a ton and with three other highly ranked LBs in the class but we will need guys of his ilk to be successful.
Not sure if mentioned but he wants to play basketball as well. This will be the major issue for him going forward. Heard he was a special talent on the court.
He has been classy the entire time. He respects the process and is probably sending out a summary of the best memories of his entire recruitment. That would include other schools. If he went totally dark or just sent out memories of one school it would go against what he had been doing the whole...
FSU has middle relief issues due to having to fight through the losing bracket. If the Vols can get through the starter, and I have no reason to think they won’t. They will put up 10+ runs. Again.
What’s the criteria for the rankings? Wins? Social Media presence? Twitter mentions? It could one of those fill the site articles during a slow media cycle.
Being in Nashville and having a huge amount of money helps a ton. Having a good season in a sport every once in a while is enough. Think Northwestern or Cal.
He was in a lower level position at Alabama than he was at Washington. Not surprised he left. I hope he has a chip on his shoulder to show his ex head coach. Bring the playbook too.
Coaches that are apart of winning programs will eventually move on. Let’s wish him well and go and find another LB coach. Not sure why Michigan since the title run this year and they are bound to come back to earth.
I think up and coming coaches across the country would be intrigued about working in this spread out offense.
Don’t restrict the hire to internal candidates.
