Kid has ice in his veins. I know the majority of those FG attempts were inside 30 yards, but he has a solid percentage from 50+ as well. Might prove to be an upgrade over Cimaglia. Plus given Heupel’s reputation for explosive plays, and pushing the ball downfield, I feel like McGrath is the...
I believe the stipulation during the coaching search was anybody with previous NCAA baggage was considered untouchable. However, Garner has no NCAA baggage that I’m aware of. Sure there’s been a lot of speculation behind his recruiting tactics, but no evidence, all hearsay. I feel like Garner is...
That given the fact that there were some locker room issues last season at UCF large in part due to differences between the offense and defense, I don’t see Shannon being brought in on Heupel’s staff. At least that was the speculation of course. I wouldn’t mind having Shannon as LB’s coach cause...
I think that’s the biggest reason why Big Kat has yet to make an official decision. I’d think with Felton out of the picture due to him being tied to violations, he won’t be working at the collegiate level anytime soon. So assuming Steele is kept, I think Big Kat will be a Vol.
No inside sources, but one would think with the staff departures we’ve already seen take place, Steele would’ve already been let go if he wasn’t going to be retained. Assuming Heupel can trust him, and they can move forward from the Auburn fall out, he would be a great asset to the staff as DC...
Believe he was injured and missed a season, but checked his stats on ESPN, and he was 76.2% on FG’s through 3 years at USC so not bad. At the very least an experienced guy with power 5 kicking experience to go along with talented freshman kicker JT Carver coming in.
You've never had a past nor present. Even in your best season in school history, you were beaten by a mediocre Tennessee team coached by Butch Jones. South Carolina is and will always be an SEC bottom dweller. FOH.
What has USC done as of late? They got obliterated on national TV against Ohio State with a team of comparable talent. Has nothing to do with records or accomplishments, this scenario has everything to do with the fact that Griffin is a Cali kid and his family wants to be able to see him play...
Honestly, screw Tee if he's gonna act bitter. He's had ample opportunities to come back to Tennessee. Fact is, he just doesn't have the resume to justify offering him the head coaching gig. He doesn't even have the keys to call all of the plays at USC.
I posted this breakdown of Chad Morris on reddit. Take a minute to read it, and see if it doesn't change your mind. The guy is a very good coach.
The more I read on him, the more I come around to the idea of hiring Chad Morris. Aside from a losing record as a head coach, which can be...
