Sam Leavitt, the Michigan St, transfer has apparently been really good through the spring.
Rashada is the more talented of the two, but the kid has the work ethic you would expect from someone who was as dramatic as he was during his recruitment.
Wouldn’t be surprised if this is just being thrown out there by his people to make him seem like a high caliber transfer rather than a diva who’s running from a QB competition at 3-9 Arizona St.
I saw him on the sideline’s in the O&W game and he wasn’t even in pads. IMO he’s just Alex Moran-ing it by enjoying being a college football player without actually trying to play college football.
Though if Edwin lives up to the hype he’s worth the two scholarships.
Yeah hopefully wherever he ends up he bulks up a bit and puts hit hand in the dirt. It suits his skillset much better and is probably his best shot at playing professionally.
A lot of guys will be held out of spring practices with injuries they would normally play through in the fall. Practice reps are important but health even more so. Better to be overly cautious during this time of the year
I think Nico sitting for a year has some people trepidatious about his skillset. IMO this works out the way it did for Mahomes in KC when he sat behind Alex Smith for a year even though there was a substantial talent difference.
Make no mistake, this guy has more raw talent than anyone we’ve...
Yeah bothering a kid during Easter celebrations (when it’s probably one of the few days his phone isn’t constantly blown up by coaches) and then posting sneaky pics of the dude is weird. Kinda gotta learn to read the room and just let the kid enjoy his last Easter at home (assuming he is an EE).
A. A former walk on RB absolutely torched our very good run defense when we played Mizzou
B. Lewis and Seldon still have plenty of time for rehab to be ready for the opening game. Adding a RB now just creates a logjam come August
Absolutely. I’m not a huge JG hater or fan, he seems like an alright guy, but these guys put themselves out there for a chance at lifetime wealth and with that comes public scrutiny.
As long as people keep it within the realm of football, let them hate away. I don’t see any benefit in talking...
