I found it funny, but not surprising in the least, how the broadcast refused to show or even acknowledge the kick from Burton. Every replay cut away right before he kicks. Gary would have had a field day if it was TN player doing the kicking.
I don’t know, I’d like to not gas our RB for 4 straight plays then, after he taps his helmet to the sideline, give him the ball right up the middle again for a loss of 2 yards.
Feel like that’s now part of the playbook.
He was one big drop and and just quick shuffle pass to Keyton on his TD run from a 4 TD passing day.
Watch the replay, he could have basically handed it to Keyton on the 2nd TD run.
He looked fine save for one series which will happen.
Rooting for the kid big time.
Hooker in last year’s opener vs ball state: 18-25, 221 yds, 2 TD passing, 2 TD rushing
Milton in today’s opener vs UVA: 21-30 201 yds, 2 TD passing, 2 TD rushing (and a probable drop on a 3rd TD bomb.
Not worried at all.
I mentioned this last night in a thread but Wesley Walker stood out last night too. Couple of big time TFLs. Reminded me of Theo Jackson type plays from last year.
