Impossible!

The basketball experts assured me that he would never coach again! Coaches don't coach after a show cause. Nobody will every hire him, they said. He will never ever coach in the SEC again, I was promised.

People who know it all, sure do get a lot of things wrong.

So Auburn gets a proven coach and we're stuck with Cuonzo or if he does leave, some guy we've never heard of. While auburn has 1/10th of the resources and fan support. I see a disconnect here.

Awesome, now Clay Travis will be talking non-stop about Penn St. football and Auburn basketball.

Well, unless both suck of course, then he'll act like he never thought either was a big deal.

Lol. This is ridiculous. Pearl will not win many games next year. I would bet we win more than Aub and blow them out. Pearl isn't lucking in to the greatest shooter and one of the top players in SEC history or an NBA pg. Pearl hit the lotto here. It won't happen again.

I don't give a rip who the coach is, I just want Tennessee Basketball to mean something again. It did when Bruce was here, but that doesn't mean it cant with someone else. Bottom line is Bruce and UT were screwed by the NCAA, and UT should've held onto Bruce and fought through the "show cause", another gift from Jimmy Cheek.

So that means you agree that Cuonzo isn't the guy?

Look, I know there are quality coaches out there, but do you trust this AD to A) Fire Cuonzo (if his performance warrants it), and B) Actually find and hire a quality coach?

I don't.

I'm very interested to see if the Martin stuff is true about him wanting to leave, and if that happens.

Nobody said that other than him coaching in the SEC, which I said was possible after a few years.

Congrats to Auburn for getting a guy who can't recruit this summer.
