hahaha... They brought out Show and a limping Cena to clear the ring after they went off air. Punk is gone. Long gone.

You know Punk is gone for good when Big Show's only appearance is mop up duty when the show isn't even on air anymore. I'm sure the crowd was really bad at that point.

I respect cena for what he's done for the company, and continues to do. I also think he handles the crowd's reactions as well as a superstar could.

I wish they'd turn him heel, even if its only like the rock level of heel. He just needs his gimmick changed up a bit.

What WWE did to it's fans in Chicago tonight was wrong. They screwed them over.

Punk is not completely absolved here. But the WWE could have said something and didn't. Failure on their part.

There's no way they can do that. Too much merchandise, goodwill and kid fans at stake.

It's pro wrestling. It's what they do.

Second time I've seen WWE bury a city. The other being Montreal. Hell they might've buried a whole country in that instance.

Chicago fans were not as good as they could've been. They should've completely revolted at the idea of Bryan/HHH at Mania. Instead they were to worried about something that was never gonna happen.

I have no problem with it at all, i thought it was awesome. They were basically ****ting on the WWE, WWE gave it back. I really enjoyed it.

That's fine, but remember this.

They're also going to **** on you as well when they roll out Batista vs Orton at WM. Unless you're saying you actually wanna see that much (and, no, I'm not talking about Punk being in it).

He said Brock was gonna beat Taker....that's a stone cold lie.

fair, but like...who really believed Heyman that Punk was not in the building?

I feel like that's what made Heyman breaking that news all the better. One set of lips that NOBODY will believe tells the truth that nobody wants to hear.

I watch it for entertainment, who's in the title match really has no bearing on my life.

For the fans to be so obsessed with wanting Punk back, who left on his own and walked out on the company, i thought it was brilliant of WWE to tease them with his music, set up what seemed to be a perfect time for him to save Bryan and work his way into the title shot, only for him not to be there. It was awesome, i loved it.

I gotcha, another excellent troll job by WWE tonight.

I still doubt they are going to have Orton vs Batista main event mania for the ppv debut of their new network. No way in the world that happens. They are going to build this thing up late and somehow insert Bryan into the title match.

Screwed them over by having one of the best RAW episodes in the past year?

Agree but until they find someone who can do all that he does, it's not going to happen. The guy is the face of the company, sells merchandise and does charity work.

I would love to see him turn though.

The biggest problem is that his moniker is Hustle, Loyalty, Respect. What are they going to do...tell kids that those three virtues are useless?

This. He can't leave for TNA (honestly) like Hogan did for WCW and become a bad guy. Kids love Cenanation just like I and millions of other kids were Hulkamaniacs growing up. It's best for business to not lose the kids.

Exactly. JR talked about that this week. He couldn't think of a time when a company turned a star on a bunch of kids. They're boxed in with Cena and he's so good that it's ok.

I didn't want to think that they would be that stupid but it looks like they are. This seems to be the start of a new era in WWE, where they stick it to the fans. But the fans, like abused wives, keep coming back. There's no competition, so they can do whatever they want now. If a WCW was around, they wouldn't be pulling this crap.

Amen to that. To this day, Hulk's loss to UW at WMVI is the only time the result of a sporting event has brought me to tears.
