bTo, I'm sure you have answered this before but would you be for Bruce returning? I know you have said you don't believe it will happen but I'm just curious of your personal preference.

I signed it. Bruce was the best thing to happen to UT BBall in a very long time, and his love for this school and Knoxville was evident.

I want him back!

If Bruce is rehired he is going to have to work extremely hard to come close to meeting the expectations the fans are setting.

He would get a pass for the first year or two. Fans would just be pumped beyond belief that he's back, regardless of his record.

I would still support the program yes.

I will support the program regardless of who the coach is, I'm not like some who are saying if Pearl isn't hired they're done with TNBB.

People have really short memories, and we live in a what have you done for me lately society.

Pearl comes back and goes 15-15 and Tennessee misses the dance, there won't be 20k fans at the games like they're used to be.

Football has always been the University of Tennessee's first priority. I'm a huge Tennessee football fan. I can remember watching them play when I was like 5 years old and I've been a fan of Tennessee football all my life. Same goes for basketball. All I'm saying is changes have to be made in order help a program. Firing Dooley and hiring Butch Jones was the best decision Hart ever made. He's brought in a top 5 recruiting class, he's beaten a ranked opponent that's not been done since 2009, and he's brought excitement back to the football program. It may happen or it may not but if we fire Martin now and hire Bruce Pearl back, the exact same thing can happen to the basketball program. Bruce can bring that excitement back to the program. He can give the fans something to look forward too in the future. He's the only one who can relate to Tennessee basketball. It's really a no-brainer really. Yes, any coach would be an upgrade over Martin but none of them can really compare to what Bruce has already accomplished here. Just my two cents.
