I understand the Knoxville folks not being the biggest fans of this, but throw us Midstate fans a bone every now and again.
Seeing a game in Nashville without having to suffer in Vandy's hole of a stadium is gonna be nice.

JONES: "By December, 23 of the 24 members of our senior class will have their degrees."
Will this increase the number if players we can sign in the '15 class? I know some have said as low as 12-15 will be signed but if that many are graduating why would we not be able to sign a full class of 25?
Not to be a jerk, but why wouldn't someone be a fan of this?
Beats me. I live 10 minutes from Neyland, cut a check every year to buy my tickets, and I think its awesome.
Still get 7 home games and an easy trip to Nashville.
Hell, I'll be honest. UAB in Neyland? Meh. I'll go, but meh. UAB in Nashville? Already making plans.

Because, IMO, there's nothing better than spending a fall day or night with 105,000 of my Volunteer brethren in Neyland Stadium.
The entire stadium at LP field doesn't have the history, the tradition, or the vibe that one patch of grass at Neyland stadium has.
JMO...
that's my question, are they?
The article on utsports says they will still have 7 home games in Neyland. So this game at LP field is like a bonus it appears.
I think it will not only be great for recruiting but it lets UT take a dump on Vandy by playing a game in Nashville. Imagine how pissed off we'd be if Vandy was going to play some neutral site game in Knoxville?
I love that they're doing this.
Sounds like CBJ is letting some of those RS JRs know that they'll be making room for a full class in 2015?
