Of course he was, his VOLS are playin tonight and he's secretly supporting his team!!

You'd be hard pressed to find another coach of the likes of CBP and CPF to be fired by a program and still maintain the love for the university. They both are TRUE VFLs in my book. Love em or hate em they love our VOLS.

He doesn't secretly support the team; he's very open about rooting for them, even still refers to UT as "we".

There's nothing he could do as long as CBP keeps his nose clean and follows the rules there's nothing he can do. My opinion is that people are just scared of Slive. I for one havnt heard or saw anything where he has forbid Pearl from being back in the SEC. I hope and I pray with everything I have in me that UT athletics dept at least open up a line of communication and just see where it leads. I think there is a lot of people that are just affraid to give him another chance here cause they're affraid of sanctions for bringin him back.

A lot of us are like some of the AD's in the SEC because we know what Bruce can do for us or what Bruce can do to us. BBB

Yeah because the last time the NCAA made a major decision or punishment, they had squeaky hammer toy to hand down justice. Miami cleared the way for Pearl to get a good job at a school. Bozeman didn't have that opportunity where the NCAA destroyed itself with a bull crap ruling. That is why he ended up at Morgan State or wherever it was.

Id say it's a safe bet that whoever gives him his chance WILL NOT have to worry about any infractions. CBP is not stupid and when he gets back into the game he will mind his P's and Q's and run a very tight clean program. I know it's a long shot for him to returning to coach our beloved VOLS (where he belongs) but one can keep the hope alive in his own heart!

Yes he is. No other way to explain him lying to the NCAA over a secondary infraction.

Ok, I'll give ya that one. Let's just say he isn't stupid enough to do it twice or screw up a second time. The man misses not just the game, he misses TBA he misses being our coach. The man is a true VFL. We can either agree or atleast agree to disagree.

I live in Alabama and I can say that Bama wants Bruce Pearl badly, they give not one iota about his past. They just want a winner. It's all they talk about on their radio shows and just in general.
