'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

some sources close to jackson’s recruitment still believe that his family is very high on the vols — perhaps to the point that tennessee might be their top choice — and they seem to be very comfortable with the idea of jackson playing at ut. The biggest question seems to be how much of a factor that might be in jackson’s decision and whether he feels the same way about the vols.

What I find most interesting about HG and the Florida fans is how they ONLY talk about the track angle with Adoree. I'm sure he is very interested in track but last I checked he is signing to play for a football team.
Muschamp has had difficulty utilizing his talent and creating sufficient wins ( yes I know he had some injuries- who doesn't) but UF fans will NOT TOLERATE one more lackluster season. Muschamp is on the ropes and has a high chance of getting canned. Why would an elite player want to gamble with the potential chaos?!?
Ps- I also live in Florida and gainsville sux!
But that is another argument!

SIAP—He did say that a big part of his in homes were talking about how he could make it to the olympics. I'm sure that is a curveball for all the coaches, honestly.

Got this sick feeling its going to be USC...I hope not and that he surprises us and picks UT...That happens i'll do back flips.

You cannot lose something you never had....I think we loom in the back of his mind. Sure, I think FL is a mistake for him. LSU is there just because they are an attractive selection. USC or UCLA makes no sense when speaking of geography and familily. Same for OK. So Adoree is gravy if the commits to us. He would be icing on the cake but not totally worth sweating....as for the trolls that come to the board and strir crap, bottom line is they have no single valid argument as to why or where he goes....is there a possibility that he cuts the list down to 4 and then selects one of the teams he cut. Yes. Adoree Jackson should be commended for how he has handled his recruitment drama free....

I agree for the most part. Sadly where I think youre mistaken is CWM being fired. Jmo 8+ wins gets him another year bc of how the 2015 class shapes up for UF. way Foley allows that talent at TC, Armwood, Jefferson and American to end up elsewhere bc of coaching change. He'll get a lifeline unless its a repeat of 2013.

I would say USC or UCLA make sense for him, being a Cali kid, correct? Or did I miss something? USC with Sarkesian and Mora Jr. at UCLA and on the rise makes all the sense in the world for him. But yes, I would dump in my pants if he picks FLA.

My understanding is that he attended School in CA for academic and competitive reasons. Lived with Aunt. This makes sense for both track and football. Illinois does not have the weather to support total year round training.

College athletics is different and you can train all year. His parents put him there for good reason and it worked. A lot depends on their relationship with their son and I have seen nothing posted that would say it isn't solid.

So there you go. All I believe and have seen is that Adoree has not tipped his hat and has done this recruitment with little drama. I think our chances are good with him and not as bad as the trolls would have others believe.

Ever lived in CA? It gets boring after 4 yrs unless you were born there

It's all about exposure to get to the next level and NFL scouts focus more on the southeastern schools and level of completion than the other schools in the NCAA. Yes he is good enough to go anywhere and draw attention but You will come close to playing an NFL type physical schedule in the SeC than any other conference.

I lived in San Diego for awhile, I can't ever imagine getting bored there.

San Diego is a great place to visit...once you make the cycle of California. It's done. Expensive, traffic, know it alls, sitting on a fault line, one wrong turn and you are in the middle of a gang war. Just chaos....he has been in the confines of a community attending HS.

Although both UCLA and USC have Huge fan bases. Completely different than the typical SEC fan base. Really no identity until game time. We talk football 24/7 in masses in the south, CA fans talk football 6,hrs a week in small groups.

I've been across California a couple of times. The traffic, the earthquakes, the high prices, the tree kissers, the nutty nut chompers, the never-ending intrusions into peoples lives, and about 10 million kooks running around was enough to convince me that Tennessee was 1000 times better. There's nothing that compares to living in Big Orange Country.

Exactly....

There is no doubt that in LosA, Adoree would be basically unknown outside the school, whereas in Knoxville, Adoree would be king stuff. Knoxville is big enough to have fun in but small enough to know who you are (for someone like Adoree).

So I guess we can officially count OrangeHammer out. No one is close to this one, and no one knows or will know until he announces. We'll just have to wait.

If he says "I'll be attending the Unversity of Tennessee" during his announcement it will shock me so much that there is no telling what I'll do.

And my shock wouldn't even come just from him, it seems like we have a pretty decent chance. I read 1,000 times more than I post but I read this every year and every year they go somewhere else. That's why it would shock me if we got Adoree, just seems too good to be true.

USC would be the softer, easier way out. The reasons to go there have less to do with the actual game of football. Tennessee is where you go if you want to play against the best of the best every week. Tennessee is where you go if you're a real football player who wants to test and showcase his abilities. Tennessee is where you go if you want to compete for a national championship over the next four years. The choice all depends on if the player is looking for a vacation or looking to push the limit. At Tennessee we're always looking for a few good men.
