Republicans Belief in Evolution plummets

You don't like opposing theory's?

You don't like open minds?

You don't care for differing trains of thought?

Must be your way? No other thoughts or theory's allowed?

the guy's an idiot preying on others who have no scientific knowledge. There are no real theories or trains of thought

it appears you are not really familiar with the guy's work and are simply trolling for a response. Thought that was beneath you

Are we saying the lack of evidence proves Bigfoot does not exist? That would only leave it at a possibility unless there is evidence proving that it cannot exist. The burden of proof goes both ways.

No, I disagree. The burden of proof lies with the one making the claim.

That's not the point and you know it.

Hence my questions.

You don't like his thoughts or theory's therefore they are invalid to you.

Would you not allow one of children to explore it themselves to make their own decisions?
I would think you would, I have never thought of you as being hypocritical person

To say something exists you need burden if proof. Likewise, to say it does not exist you need burden of proof. To say it is a possibility either way you do not need burden if proof. That's my opinion. My final stance is that there is a possibility that Bigfoot could or could not exist. It has not been proven either way. In the end it remains a possibility. To say there is absolutes in this equation either way is ridiculous.

What theory have you presented?

A theory is a well-established principle that has been developed to explain some aspect of the natural world. A theory arises from repeated observation and testing and incorporates facts, laws, predictions, and tested hypotheses that are widely accepted.

Again, what other theory have you presented?

It's out there. Explore it. You might learn something.

My argument isn't that he/it exists. It's that you can't prove he/it never existed.

Wow, reading comprehension not being taught in Tennessee anymore? Go back and read what I wrote. No wait. I'll save you the trouble:

Again, I can't say that bigfoot hasn't existed or does exist. To date, I've seen no credible evidence to support that he did, however. Before you ask, I've not seen, read or heard about credible evidence for Nesse, Leprechauns, Unicorns, Trolls, Chuds, Fairy's, Santa, Zeus or The Easter Bunny. Do you have some? If you do, get peer reviewed and I'll gladly change my position.

Let that sink in.

I've now said this three times. I'm beginning to wonder if some folks in here are reading through the ear hole of their safety helmet.

But not universally accepted which means there are people who disagree. Because a scientist were to disagree with evolution, does that mean he/she is intellectually inferior?

So when an atheist makes the claim that the Bible is inaccurate and full of made up stories, does the burden of proof lie with the atheist?

So when an fundamentalist makes the claim that Harry Potter is inaccurate and full of made up stories, does the burden of proof lie with the Fundamentalist?

no I wouldn't and no parent who wants their child to be educated would either. His claims are not backed by any facts and are enforced by his own bad math. He's not a scientist and I'm not even sure he's much more than a HS grad.

bad (nonexistent) science + bad math + Bible = potentially valid theories? Not for any rational person

Let it sink in " YOU HAVE PROVIDED NO PROOF YOU THEORY IS VALID"

It's all theory's. We are arguing whose theory is right.

Get it ?

No need to get defensive. You inquired on what I had to add to the conversation. I stated my stance. It was not directed towards you. There is also no need to insult my intellect. That is the lowest form of insults. Next time ask if this was directed towards you.

I'm not the one foisting extraordinary claims. It's not my job to prove it.

But our teachers teaching these subjects are not scientists. Are they qualified to teach these subjects or answer questions relating to the subject matter that is not answered in the textbooks?

How were you able to draw this conclusion ?

Did your parents tell you?

I'm not disagreeing with you on your opinion, just merely pointing out the obvious.

more qualified than a fundamentalist HS grad who is bad at math and logic
