oh they will have excuses, you can believe that. Right now they are hanging on RPI and the basketball gurus predictions. Just as they were doing this time last year. Its almost comical. I bet they say this lost is not a big deal to.

Why should we believe UT is capable of finding a good basketball coach? Stop acting like UT was ever relevant before Pearl was here.

You guys preach about how much you hate mediocrity, and yet you hate on people like me who want the only coach who has been successful here since the late 70s-early 80s. We were outstanding with Pearl here compared to our history. You're damn right I want that man back, and will fight for every chance we have to get him.

I wonder how successful CCM would have been here had he not been able to use Pearl's players, and the fact that Pearl put us back on the national radar. You think CCM could recruit half the talent he does if Bruce didn't make people realize that we're actually a school? Very few good players wanted to come here before Bruce. The Sky is the limit with him.

And you Martin slurpers read someones post saying that Martin will get one more year because of the buy out have no clue as to what Hart will do. It will be nice to get Pearl back so you martinites will leave.

The man can coach flat out....and made Final 4 appearances without elite level talent......people wrote off Steve Fisher after his exit from Michigan and the Fab Five days but he is doing excellent in San Diego he?

I do think Martin needs to be replaced but I don understand why some people think hes the only coach in America that can win here. We can get a coach and win and not have all the extra baggage.

I didn't expect us to win today. Back before the season started I had high hopes for this team. But it has become blase basketball. This team has taken on the demeanor of their coach. All business, no emotion. I do not dislike CCM, but he ain't Bruce. Bruce brought a passion to the game that brought out the best in his team(s) and the fans. CCM brings_______. Put it this way, if Bruce was hired today - and I mean right now - you would see a huge resurgence in the fan base, ESPN would be clamoring all over K-town, recruits would take immediate notice, but most important, IMO, the team would play with a bit of passion. That's my fricking 2 cents.

I agree with all of it.....just don't see him coming back in all honesty. And with an institution/program trying to keep its new, improved, & clean image.....just don't see it happening.
