'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

Mike Farrell ‏@rivalsmike 4m

Why do I get the feeling Adoree Jackson might end up at #Florida in the end. Track, track, track.

Wow I like the sound of that if true and it does make sense and has been discussed on here for a while now. If true that would mean it's pretty much between us and florida. And with CWM seat seemingly warming up a bit (whether true or not that is the perception at least from the outside looking in), I would think that would do nothing but help our chances even more.

I have been and still am very hesitant to get my hopes up about this one (don't want to be let down on NSD), but I'm starting to come around a bit. If nothing else I've got a reason to be optimistic and I'll be excited to see how things play out from now until NSD. I'm really looking forward to seeing what's being said after our staff's in-home visit, getting his family on board sounds like it is a big key in this one.

Dang the thought of Adoree and Sutton playing opposite of each other on the outside along with the rest of this amazing class of defensive backs is, to say the least, extremely exciting. Here's to hoping Adoree decides to be a part of team 118 and UT's rise back to the top.

Gorney just said no one knows where he is going besides that it looks like that will be UT or Florida due to proximity to home. Farrel is completely guessing.

OK, for good or bad, this is the latest I've heard on Adoree' Jackson.

First, USC, Florida and Tennessee visited him in Illinois today and I've heard these are the three programs that stand out the most and have the biggest shot at him - for different reasons.

What I've heard that could play the biggest factor is that Jackson's family is persuading him to stay closer to home and that means Tennessee and Florida might have the best shot at landing him. After three years in Los Angeles, I've heard his parents feel like they've missed out on seeing him play and they could do that if he's much closer in Knoxville or Gainesville.

From what I've heard, LSU is slipping a little bit as signing day gets closer and this person feels the three programs above have the best chance of landing him.

With the family factor already out there, that does not mean USC is not going full force to get him. Steve Sarkisian is very involved with trying to convince Jackson USC is the best place for him and that they would use him all over the field. That is a considerable draw but the family factor is also playing a major role in his recruitment.

No one knows where Jackson is going - not even those closest to him - so if you hear anybody say they know for sure it's just a guess.

After USC, Florida and Tennessee meet with him things might change and I will check back to see how the thinking has evolved. There are concerns at all three schools so nothing is a lock right now.

Everything runs in cycles. It's our time and we are on the way back up. As Vol fans we should expect goods news. I am not saying this young man is a lock, what I am saying is there are plenty more to come that will be just as good. Tennessee is making its way back and it's going to be a fun ride watching the classes Jones and crew pull in.

It will be great to get this commitment from Adoree' but don't get upset if we don't. We are going to start getting our share.
