'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

I've known for a minute that we were visiting tomorrow and not this weekend. My guy laughed when I said it'd be this weekend and he said, "that's cute, try Thursday.. but shh." Can't wait to talk to him this weekend and beyond, this is going to be one hell of a race :).

i figured it would be the weekend because he wouldnt have to go to school, and we would get more time with him. i guess we are visiting after school, or else he is skipping

The coaches are visiting him at his parents home. They wanted to be with the whole family for the in home. The parents really like our coaches but we need a home run of a in home visit here.

If I understand it right, they are visiting with the whole family at once? right? And if that's the case he's not in school since the visit is posed to take place in I think Illinois? May be wrong state. And he goes to school on the left coast. But like I said I could be misunderstanding.

The biggest factor in Adoree's recruitment has been a school's track program. I don't think UT has a good enough track program to land him especially with UF and LSU in the running along with the hometown teams. UF likes their chances particularly with their history of sending long jumpers to the olympics.

last I saw there aren't any hometown teams in his most recent list

Why does the staff think UCLA leads (like you said before)? Hubbs makes it seem like it's LSU, UF and UT.

% chance UT lands AJ, IYO?

This. Adoree is tight knit with his family and they will play a huge role in his decision. I'm not sure how FL is in it as abrasive as Muschamp is. That being said, CLM is pretty solid as far as in-home visits are concerned. I think it's either us or LSU, but something tells me that we are in a better position at this point. JMO though, don't go starting any $400,000 crack parties yet LOL.

No idea, but the coaches feel UCLA is a very serious contender for the kid. I also get the feeling the track and field angle is over played, maybe 80%-20% in footballs favor. The kid and his family are smart people and he often states his decision will be business. We'll see soon enough.

Do you think that by having an income with Adoree and his family together could give us a leg up on everyone else?

All of the recruits that meet butch jones always say something about a family atmosphere and how he treats you as if you are family.

With Adorees entire family being there, I think butch will nail this.

GBO.

If we're the only ones visiting him with the parents, that would have to be a good thing. Surely someone else will be doing the same thing.

Hmmm play in the PAC 12? It seems like that's quite a haul for Adoree's folks. If he's a family kid it probably makes sense for him to stay in the south. Hey can anyone confirm how many times he's been on campus? A buddy of mine at the bball game was saying five.

i thought it was twice? would be awesome if it really was five. id say wrap it up its over folks if true lol

Skeeter, Are we selling him on both sides of the ball or just defense?

We are selling him on offense, defense, and special teams. We've told him he's a unique athlete, who excels in many areas, and we'll let him decide where he wants to focus his time at first
