It's hard to troll Zoners. But I would love Pearl back. I hate CM and like you said, our athletic funds are running dry with all these past coaches and facility upgrades so we can't hire a big name Coach. Pearl would work for free practically.

Yeah they got pilot problems. Shaka and Marshall is the names being thrown out but these coaches are who we should have tried last time. Hamilton hired a service to hire a coach. I know big universities do this but isn't that the AD's job?

I'm with you, I've tried to support Martin but its becoming fairly obvious that he can't get it done.

I have full faith in Butch, but we didn't break the bank looking for a football coach, we definitely are not going to for a bball coach. We never have and never will.

I'd like Marshall, didn't we pass a couple times cause he is kind of an odd guy during interviews? Seems like I read that somewhere. Probably wouldn't have to pay out the ass for him either.

AD's job to interview and hire, but having headhunters doing the screening and first contact is always a good idea.

Supposedly. But Marshall we beat his Shockers last year and should have won yesterday. He does a lot with less but still I don't think that is the answer. Better than CN but who's not. CM is a great assistant and good person that has a storied background. We need charismatic, lying, and cheating Bruce back for the publicity. He is a good coach and intense during games. cM sits on the bench most of the time . :)

Yeah and Dooley beat Butch. Lol Marshall has done a good job building that program. We could always get Larry Brown. An odd thing I've noticed. Generally when we are winning Martin stands and coaches, when we are losing he sits down. It's kind of weird, almost like he gets lost when we are behind. If teams run anything but a basic man to man, our offense goes stupid. We never attack the press or the zone. Its frustrating.

If I was an AD and those choices ultimately reflected on me and my job. I'd do it all. The only reason is you have to interview so many candidates and look at a minorities too.
Anyone with a brain at a big university would know who the hottest college football and basketball coaches are. We didn't hire any the last 10 years.

Larry Brown is too old.

His coaching skills are evident to anyone who has picked up a basketball. CM has the worse in game adjustments ever.

I was a student manager for one year and 2 of my roommates in college were student managers for all 4 years they were in school.

Unless all of this has humbled him ALOT, we don't want him back. Behind closed doors, he was a complete 180 from the person everyone else saw.
