a few hours ago Dillon was in the lead by nearly 7,000 votes.

Now his lead is only 20563 to 17136 or only about half that at a 3,427 vote lead.

The soccer gal now has 64,713 ... a comfortable lead for her group which is not competing with Dillon in this round. She will be his competition in the final round.

Another soccer girl is Dillon's competition in this, the second round.

Now his lead is only 20563 to 17136 or only about half that at a 3,427 vote lead.

3,427 vote lead can vanish overnight, like we won it for Dillon in the first round.

I think they may have fixed the multiple vote trick. It's not letting me click more than once now.

Yep, not working for me either. And, the second place person is about to overtake him if we don't keep voting.

I just posted ~150 votes and there is only a 1% difference in votes.

Come on Vol Nation, After what Dillon has done for you to help encourage fellow recruits, the least you can do for him is vote a bunch of times to help him win this.

100 people voting 50 times is 5000 votes. It doesn't take that long to run in 20 or so, then come back and do it again a couple of times a day.

Chill out bro. There is clearly an army of house wives or school kids voting for that girl. She seems like a deserving winner. Dillon will be fine regardless.

There are over 3000 supposed fans on this site right now and you have let him fall behind a high school junior soccer girl in the USA TODAY/ASICS Ultimate Athlete 2nd round.

Dillon Bates deserves better than that. Is this what you are all about? Just pi$$ing and moaning about the season and why we deserve to have a better coach, recruits, and W/L record?

You don't deserve Dillon Bates, or any of the rest of the legacy recruits! If I was a recruit and saw a huge fan base site let a future teammate fall, I actually would reconsider my commitment based on the fact that they really aren't that good a fan base since they won't do a simple thing for a fellow recruit.

If you think you do deserve to have this legacy class, you'd vote for him and not let him lose this contest. It would be easy. But OH NO! Instead, a girls' soccer team is beating you now by just a few kids, parents, and friends voting over and over.

Her votes have passed Dillon. When I voted it seemed like the percentage went down. for Dillon.

Yeah man I guarantee you they are. They probably got the whole family voting. I know if it was my kid I'd have the family, friends, people at church, etc voting.

I started a new thread because I hope to get discussion.

There are over 3000 users on VolNation right now and YOU have let Dillon Bates fall behind a high school soccer girl. Surely no more than her team, parents, and some school friends are voting for her.

You come on here, the Recruiting Forum, of the largest VOLS fan base website and ignore a thread where you can vote for Dillon Bates to win the second round of the USA TODAY/AISCS Ultimate Athlete contest by voting, say 50 or 100 times. There are several upsides to winning this for Dillon.
Not the least is how the USA TODAY article will break in the national news and the good will in future recruiting.

And voting? It's easy, I've probably voted AT LEAST 1,000 times over the last 2 days. Ten minutes here, 20 minutes there when I take a break.

It's easy, but OH NO, it seems most 'fans' would rather ignore Dillon's contest and pi$$ and moan about the coaches, who's getting recruited, the W/L record and how you deserve more as a 'fan'.

What kind of a fan are you if you can't/won't support Dillon in this contest? He was one of the first to commit and helped recruit the rest of this legacy class. He's already started giving his all for Tennessee and you won't even do a simple thing for him?

You don't deserve Dillon Bates, or the rest of this legacy class. If I was a recruit and saw that the 'fans' wouldn't even support a fellow recruit I'd seriously reconsider. The VOLS can't be that 'best fan base in CFB' can they?
