Trying the fg was not stupid. Forgetting to remind the team that a missed fg can run it back lost them the game.

Ya, I still think they'd have tackled him even with the behemoths, if said behemoths had been trying to tackle him from the second the kick went in the air. Either way, lack of focus on the potential return lost it for them.

Creekside 55, Kell 10

Creekside capitalized on a bad punt snap to take the lead. Evan Berry recovered the ball at the Kell 5-yard line after it sailed over the head of Kell punter Julien Chang. Three plays later Terry pushed in from two yards out for a 7-3 lead.

The Creekside defense forced a three-and-out on the next series, and after a short Chang punt gave the Seminoles the ball at the Kell 39.

Knox quickly made it a two-score game, breaking a tackle at line, busting through two more defenders and sprinting the last 25 yards for the touchdown.

An interception by Cameron Jackson gave Creekside the ball and Terry’s 2-yard run with 2:20 left in the half capped a 60-yard drive and made it 21-3.

The Seminoles erased any doubt about the outcome in the early stages of the third quarter. Elliott Berry, in his only carry of the game, burst off tackle and up the left sideline for an 80-yard touchdown run on the first play of the period.

His brother Evan intercepted a pass from Kell quarterback Matthew McGuigan on the ensuing possession, and the Seminoles drove 50 yards in eight plays to make it 34-3. Terry’s 21-yard run finished off the drive.

Really too bad Chris Gallon got injured early this season. Was on the verge of breaking out big for Bowling Green.

He would have ddied to be a Vol but we didn't have room. He had a great season last yr too.

@davidpollack47: There is def one part of NIU's game that Bama wished they had, a FG kicker. This kid has a BOOT. He can make it from 60+.

Looking through the football forum (I'm bored, sue me) and some of those guys think we go 7-1 in conference next year and end up in Atlanta.

I mean I know we usually talk about them being off their rocker but it's usually in a negative way..now they think we win the east next year
