I haven't read the report and don't care to get involved in this discussion. But your last sentence is contradictory. There is a difference between being innocent and not guilty. Not being able to prove something does not always mean innocent.

No, I'm saying the evidence says he's innocent. The evidence is not lacking, there's plenty of it, and it all says he's innocent. People are acting like he's definitely guilty, there's just not enough evidence to prove it.

I'm often happy to have a different view than the majority. Dobbs did fine and can do better. He was also not healthy and his plant leg had been bothering him. They just didn't talk about it. Kid was getting treatment nonstop, had no TE, Tiny letting DE's go to block down on a guard on passing plays, and absolutely zero outside threat. Croom isn't an outside receiver and should be eating the middle of the field up looking like Vernon Davis.

He also hurt his thumb on his throwing hand against Vandy (how the hell does that happen to 3 QBs in one year??). For a true freshman forced into action early due to injuries and not having any consistent weapons around him, I'd say he did fine.

Its obvious Haden doesnt look at win-loss records. Plus, Haden's the dumbazz who hired LK. Who cares what Haden thinks.

I don't believe he hired kiffin.

Edit: I see I was late to the party.

Peterson is a hire all day long every day of the year. Haden has no clue. Washington will get Peterson and drill USCw most every year. And I will laugh so hard and sip on my beer with a silly grin on my face.

I think it's because the OL is letting the DL get too close

Accorfing to sources that have nothing to do with college football, the NCAA is allowing Alabama to make some necessary additions to their field. Need to add some at the beginning of the end zone as well.

it was also cold that night and it was obvious he couldn't grip the ball

Peterson is a tremendous coach. No question. Living in Los Angeles for 25 plus years, he seems kind of square to woo recruits. One has to remember, an individual used to recruiting in Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, and perhaps lower level recruits in Washington... Going to the high schools of Long Beach Poly, Dorsey, Crenshaw, Narbonne, Carson, (Poly being the big one year in and year out) you need some pizzazz.

Then your sentence structure was bad. I understand what you are saying now, but that is not how you wrote it originally. Sorry.

He hasn't had a good grip all year. Lots of ducks. Lots of underthrows. I don't think he hit a deep ball in stride all year.

He hit Neal in stride- he dropped it. I actually thought some of his throws in the middle of the field were good throws. The radio thought his deep balls were about timing and not to do with accuracy. They thought he was holding it too long.

well, the first deep ball he threw this year made Gary Danielson stop mid sentence and say whoa because of it's distance, trajectory and tight spiral. He had some bad throws like every qb and had some good ones as well.

I hope we don't see too much of Jsmith next year - but that is just me

if pearson and malone are even close to what they are billed to be - when you add that to North and Pig i am just not sure how many reps i would want him getting

On long drive, guys need breathers. :)

Seriously though, he does a few things well already. If he can get the other things down, he'll be useful, even if it's just in spots. Depth ain't a bad thing.

Josh Smith was the 2nd best receiver we had before the ball was thrown, maybe even the best. He was so open so often, just dropped so many.

I think he'll be fine, too. If he gets healthy and shakes the yips, he could be a valuable possesion guy and quality depth.

(Not directed at you Writer) I laugh every time Tennessee fans decide a kid is toast and should probably just transfer out.

We've seen PLENTY of guys who looked like absolute dog crap for a season or two only to grow into solid players.

Palardy? Z. Rogers? Work back from there. There are a lot of good examples.

I'm with you. Some guys work; some guys don't. But I'm not gonna flush a true freshman. I know no one in here is saying that. Just agreeing with you.

You serious Clark?

Also, UCF will play (likely) in a BCS bowl game while Florida will not play in any bowl whatsoever.

Whoever made that preseason bet is sizing up which island to buy right now.
