I like the fact we can talk about a variety topics in this thread. It gives us sane folk a place to congregate and talk current sporting events without the other FF crazies impeding our territory. For the most part, we can discuss issues like this for a few posts then move seamlessly back to UT recruiting topics.

The only poster I know that truly stretches the limits is Bruin. He tends to belabor issues for too long. :)

You need to chill on taking such a strong stance on this. High profile athletes are no angels and it is folks like you that make them gods where they think they are above anything. This could very well have been a ploy of some sort, but she wasn't going to get much money out of this as if he was tried and even found innocent his stock would have plummeted. Revenge? Quite a step as she was facing potential heavy shame and ridicule. BB, even if this type of thing happens 99% of the time (money gold digging types), it is that 1% that is oh so important that they feel they can come forward without the automatic suspicion they are out for dough.

I'm mostly a lurker in this area of VN but I felt compelled to agree with you. I spend most my time in Endzone/NCAA forum(s). Then probably a close 2nd is FF/BF (mainly during the seasons).

I don't visit a lot, and certainly don't post here at all (might in the future if I can get time). But I've been pleasantly surprised that this forum isn't as crazy. Hope it stays that way.

I missed the exact explanation but the midday 180 guys were saying we can back count 10? I thought we were limited to 5 by rule. Anyone catch it all. Would surprise me if they were wrong.

One nice thing about the RF is that you can pretty much just follow this one thread and keep up with everything that's going on.

That and you can have differences of opinion with people without getting called every name under the sun.

If I didn't trust the character of this kid and his family(I know more than one member in his family) I would've never commented on the case. If you knew the kid's character personally you would immediately say I dont believe it period. He's not even that type of aggressive dude. But you all think I side with every athlete I guess even though the Vandy case came out and I didn't even comment on it. But god bless you guys hope he wins the Heisman and the Natty this year!!!!

Not pissed today. I have started one negative discussion with you. And I apologized. That's what men do. We apologize when we're wrong.

None of that changes your attitude, though. You can be rude. All of us can. I don't understand you nor do I necessarily care outside of the fun little interweb discussions.

But you'll have a great response and call me "guy" or "dude" and I will continue to go on living my life. Not a big deal in the slightest bit.

i agree on chilling on the strong stance

however i dont agree that high profile athletes are no angels - i think they are bad and good seeds and about the same rate as the rest of the population
