'14 KY DT Matt Elam

I never said I spoke with anyone so you look great by making things up. Sabans wife said they aren't going anywhere. Now that could be a smokescreen meant to set up a huge payday. Apparently she is the one wo has had a major hand in his moves. So it would seem that favors him not going anywhere.

If he does go to Texas I will be shocked and admit I was wrong. It needs to be said you're the one who said he is leaving Alabama and offers up no justification for the move other than his history. But you did a great job :good!:

The only justification? It was the most logical justification. That coupled with the fact that the sports media has been trying to give this story legs. And my take shows way more evidence than a random clueless fan laughing off something he has no idea about other than 'his wife' saying so.

That being said my original comment was more less aimed at needling Bama fans and was not intended for a fellow Vol fan wandering into a thread attempting to look clever. Do I think Saban bolts for Texas? Probably not. But to say you would be shocked shows you are completely out of touch with the sports world.

Take it from a Dolphins fan , that dude could bolt . I'm not saying he will , but you can't listen to Saban or his wife . Two days before he left Miami for Tuscaloosa he said there was no way he was going to Alabama , and he did

kinda of sounds like when Urban and his wife, they both said they weren't leaving Utah, after they had put there house up for sale

People would be naïve if they thought the chances of him leaving were at 0% but I think the fact that Texas has tried to get him for a few years now and he hasn't left just makes Bama fans a little more confident that he will stay. I don't see anything wrong with that.

I think he could leave but laugh when some make the argument that Texas can offer more money when Bama can pay enough to keep him.

"@Vol_Quest: BREAKING: #Vols land 5* recruit Matt Elam."

upon further review this guy is likely a troll...

True, might be a little overrated vs worse competition in Kentucky but he's still a good player.

Reports that he might not take his official visit to Alabama. Would be a huge positive sign for uk.

No need to take his OV to bama if he has already decided to play for notre dame.
