Ok OCI or POA with Malone on board and EE can one of you guys say who are the 14 EEs and maybe a projected two deep going into camp?

i hope we do find a way to add higher rated guys, this class is the foundation upon which Butch will build

The fact that both our TE's are EE's and highly rated is going to help us tremendously. I think THEY are two most important pieces to next years offense.

So since Reed and Heurtolou are off the board, do we try to add another juco DL to go with Williams and lambert?

Think about this for a sec, 5 linemen, one qb, so you got 5 positions. North, Pearson, Malone, at wr... Hurd at Rb , then helm at either TE, hb, motion outside... Who would you forget about? I think helm is gonna be one OPEN mf for the next few years! His pass catching ability is outstanding.

Maybe but I doubt we have Thig right now if Butch was hired then bc Thig wasn't looking for a job at that time. Not sure if Butch would've fired whoever the LB's coach(or whatever position he wanted Thig for, DB's) after one year to go after Thig when he became available from aub. I'd think Butch probably could've pulled Ramsey and Bell out of those 4 even without Thig though. Bell for sure, imo.

Thig deserves a ton of credit for this class so far and even though we had to live with Dooley for another year I think It was worth it now that we got Butch and Thig (they're looking like one of the best one-two recruiting punches in all of cfb). The recruits love Butch and he's been a big selling point for a lot of them, no doubt, but I don't think there's any denying that they love Thig too and we probably don't have the class we do right now without him. It seems like the curse lifted, everything finally aligned for us at just the right time, and now we're seeing great strides towards our Rise To The Top on and off the field.

Who knows? Maybe Butch would've hired an elite recruiter in Thig's spot in 2011 anyways and we're going into year 3 of the UT awakening under Butch instead of year 2. Although, I can't imagine anyone being a bigger asset in recruiting as Thig has been this year. 18 recruits he's credited with....geez. Pay that man asap! We'll never know if we'd be better off over time if Butch came in 2011 without a truly elite recruiter like Thig or in 2012 with Thig. I'm happy as hell right now so I'd guess the latter :)
