The Official Tennessee vs. Kentucky Game Thread, 7:00pm ET, ESPNU

How could you miss the little guy?! Hahahaha.

Who gets the ball after half?

I want either Muschamp or Pelini. Doesn't matter. That's assuming both are fired and UT is willing to pay them what they're worth.

Hopefully you are talking about assistant coaches? I wouldn't want either of them as a head coach.

Still no responses as to janceks bad coaching on the last drive. If you are too emotional and don't know what he did wrong, why post that he sucked on the drive? Because its the thing to do?

I think you'll be waiting a while for an answer. I don't understand the heat on Jancek either. It's unwarranted.

Despite the fact we are up 13, this was an awful half. Again, we've gotten lucky in a couple of cases. One of our long receptions was a lucky-as-hell circus catch after the Kentucky defender tipped what should have been an incompletion or an INT. Plus, Kentucky had some drops . . . until that last drive where they scored the TD. At that point, the Tennessee defense that has been so putrid the rest of the year finally showed up and made UK look incredible.

Dobbs still doesn't look worth a darn in the passing game. He looks BETTER in some ways, but still not much reason to have optimism about the future. Might be due to wide receivers (or lack thereof) or maybe not. I guess we'll have to wait and see next season how it plays out. At this point, I sure hope that Furgeson is good because everything else looks depressing. Dobbs won't take us anywhere with just his legs. He'll have to be able to pass to win and, let's face it, that's the one thing that he has shown that he can't do up to now.

Overall, very disappointing. Let's see if the team comes out in the second half and puts this away or - far more likely - makes this a close game and finds a way to lose in the end. Maybe I'm just too scarred from the garbage that I've watched this year (and for the last five seasons) to be objective, but this game has me hitting the whisky hard already.

Smartasses dog jancek for that drive but don't have the brainpower to explain what play calls he screwed up. Or is it still due to Georgia '09?

Geeze, Sparty, lighten up.
All I'm saying is that the old excuse of not having talent on par with our opponent doesn't stand up against this glorified high school team.

Absolutely. I'm loving Jones but Jancek isn't his guy and Jancek isn't the answer.

TBH I'm not as against Bajayjay as others are. Losing your QB and all top 4 WRs from last year and then being down to your 4th String QB by halftime at the Bama game isn't a great position to be in.

I'm just not enthused with Jancek.

I agree is Tennessee going to run the ball and create some turnovers and put the game away by 28+ points…OR…like you said make it a really really close game like last week where it comes down to a play here or there to make or break it….SIGH>>>>>
