'14 CA CB Adoree' Jackson (Signed with USC)

"Also, if you read Adam Gorney's recruiting note, then you know about Tennessee going out to see some 2015 quarterbacks in California next week. Offensive coordinator Mike Bajakian will be out in California and will see several 2015 quarterbacks out there, including Kearns. Also, he'll see Lavon Pearson and Eric Lauderdale.

Bajakian will likely see Adoree' Jackson and give an offensive presentation to the five-star talent."

Not sounding bad at all. This is really starting to get better and better!

What's the latest?

"Tennessee is very much in it. They are battling with the other schools in Adoree's top group. LSU is thought to be one of the leaders, but USC is going to be interesting as well. He's not deciding until signing day so there's a long ways to go in this one."

Thanks for the great info Ron and TriCitiesVol!

This guy is such a freak athlete he could be a 5* at any skill position. A lot like DeAnthony Thomas just bigger.

If he wants to play primarily CB and some PR/KR, LSU is the team to beat. can't argue with Peterson and Mathieu and their success in the NFL so far.

If he's looking for offense, I feel UT is up there with LSU. Mettenberger is a senior and they will be breaking in a new QB next year.

Can't see USC here as they most likely will have a new head coach/coaching staff.

Hope he ends up taking another visit to UT with the family prior to NSD. If so, it's a toss up between UT/ LSU.

All Bajakian needs to do is go to YouTube and grab all the De’Anthony Thomas and RDA IV clips.

Presentation. Boom.

Adoree is a cut machine. Not as straight line as mamba. And would fit in conventional offenses as well. Mamba is a great guy for Oregon. Not sure how he does outside of the system

Put Adoree at WR and watch him make play after play after play.

I wouldn't show him any rda iv footage that gimmick mess is not going to get Adoree anywhere

Bajakian is going to Cali to give Adoree an offensive presentation, as we all know. Also, the defensive coaches (Willie, Thig, and Jancek) are going next week to talk to him about defense.

I know what offensive presentation means, but everytime I hear it I picture Bajakian talking to Adoree while picking his nose or something.

I get the joke you're making, but something tells me that a Williams graduate puts on one hell of a presentation.

Yes me too. At this point, I feel more confident with him doing the presentation than calling games. He looks like he was born to do presentations. I say this affectionately as someone who loves this coaching staff, just a comment on him looking more like a professor than a football coach.

What position on offense do they see him playing? Would Jackson prefer offense or defense? I'm assuming they are going to use him on both sides of the ball or at least try.

I think it has been stated he wants to play receiver. I think you let him play whatever he wants to get him signed up in hopes he will see that his future is as a lockdown corner once he gets here. He is smooth enough as an athlete to be great on the offensive side of the ball but lockdown corners get paid at the next level.

I think we have a better shot than some believe at this kid.. If we had NO Shot we would not be pressing the issue like we are

I make a motion that if CBJ signs Adoree Jackson that we immediately name a street after Jones. We could rip up the pavement on the Vol Walk and name it...

Whaaaaattt? By this logic, we should have re-named the stadium after Kiffin for signing Bryce Brown. Gotta let them get here and pan out accordingly first.

One thing I think we have an advantage on is we have 97 percent of our class committed.

The focus we can put on a couple home run guys and keeping our own is great.

Also with 14-16 EE we can eliminate many of those we have to actively recruit.
