wind was about 30 mph here also. Deer came out about 100 yds. I yelled at it and he stopped in his tracks. He stood there for probably 2 minutes, but she was just too slow. I told her that they dont stand there forever. i dont think she really gave a damn.

I just havent seen the deer this year that I usually do. We have 3 stands on a pipeline that is planted in rye grass and oats. Also put about 200 lbs of corn out a week. The last 5 times we have sat there we havent seen anything. I dont understand it. I am gonna get really serious about it next weekend and then I am done for the year. All I want is for the wife and boy to kill a deer, could care less about myself.
