miggy and fielder career numbers aren't vastly different, but fielder was borderline bad last year.

it's definitely interesting. took some ballz. it is awesome that Profar will be unleashed.

Thank you.. Plus prince plays every day. Kinsler? Eh

Kinsler played 136 games last year... 157 and 155 two years before. 2010 he missed a lot of time.

fielder has missed 1 game since 2008, though. mighty impressive.

castellanos/peralta, iglesias, kinsler, miggy on the infield D is much improved.

You said sometime that you were at least somewhat familiar with the whole situation with Cobb Co. and MARTA. What's their aversion to having a line go out there? Do they just not want the inner city folk having such cheap and easy access out there or are there other, more financially motivated concerns?

Originally it supposedly really was about keeping "the wrong element" (wink wink) out of Cobb, but now I'd say 95 percent of it is that they simply don't want to pay the penny sales tax it requires.

And offense significantly downgraded

i really like getting rid of that fielder contract, honestly. but it can be one that works for both teams.

Bingo. Think about paying Prince Fielder, (who is already declining and sucked ass this past postseason) 24 million when he is in upper 30's and can't get around on a fastball. Because it's coming. Kinsler's contract isn't ideal either but it is noticeable better than Fielders.

Why stop there? I have google too. For his career:

120
130
121
144
103
155
157
136

You tell me what the outlier is. Age will help though, I'm sure.
Cause age is going to make fielders gut get smaller too amirite?

Andy Simmons hit 8 less HRs than great power hitter Prince Fielder.

~168 million through 2020

~62 million through 2017 and I read somewhere that him being traded turns the final year into an option (may not be true)

That gut hasn't bothered him yet and his OBP was several dozen higher.

He doesn't get around on the fastball like he use too. Still a great player, but at 24 a year.. Not worth it. Kinsler can gtfo, with you on that.

My beef with Prince has always been this:

.194/.287/.333 career postseason numbers. When needed most, he doesn't have it.

my buddy was saying he read somewhere that SF was considering McCann, Posey to first, and Belt to left. Skeptical, but still.

I see the owners pockets are still laced with the cash Barry bonds made them.
