What happened to McNeil? I remember him coming into some games as a true freshman early on and really standing out for being a hard-hitting, fly to the ball safety. He was a top 100 talent in high school.

Great question. Something tells me he'd be a star if he'd flipped to ok state. No telling how badly he was damaged last year lol

McNeil hs film was the same. Guy looked elite. I hope Gaulden has corner skills like he's supposed to, would love him and Sutton on the outside.

Yea I know it's easy to look that good against HS kids. He has thesize and speed and is a really solid tackler who can play the ball in the air. I honestly think we will have 4 guys from this class as starters for next years opener.

Gaulden has better film. Less knock out hits, but better cover skills. Plus Gaulden had great hands, seeing as he is a top receiver as well. I dare these *****es to throw his way once he figures the college game out.

Gaulden is bigger than McNeil is, unless I am wrong

McNeil should be a linebacker. His angles are not what you need as last line of defense. He seems like a kid you want to limit his responsibility, time in open space and window and just go hit people. He doesn't seem to be the brightest upstairs in interviews.

Gaulden, Kelly, and others will put these boys on the bench

Mcneil isnt a scrub. Not at all. Just struggling. Maybe should be at the LOS more but witb our lack of speed he isnt allowed to play to his strengths

McNeil hasn't tackled well all year. And until he starts wrapping up he'll be basically scrub material. He's got a nose for the ball but if he's not a terror in the run game he's not what he's advertised to be to me. He needs to start playing disciplined football for us.

Bad angles and a step slow IMO. The more I watch the safeties in space, particularly against zone read teams, the more excited about the '14 class I become
