....or if they want Alabama to win so the Ducks can get their shot at the Tide.

Considering they are in jeopardy of not playing if FSU/bama both go undefeated, my guess is they'd like to see the bammers lose.

I would have to say yes...whatever gets them in the National Championship game I'm pretty sure they wouldn't care who they are playing.

The tide will likely end up in the game anyway, I think they will be cheering us on.

Of course they do. FSU and Ohio State are still undefeated.

I think if FSU, Ohio State, Oregon, Alabama all go undefeated it would be Ohio State vs Alabama in the championship. They would have to hope they get voted more than Ohio State which is going to say we're 24-0?

Nah, they'll be pulling for us and every other team playing these teams.

Don't think tOSU would have anywhere near enough in strength of schedule to justify making it to the championship game. FSU should be a concern for the Ducks though.:peace2:

Oregon and FSU get in WAYYYY before OSU even gets thought about if all go undefeated. Hell a 1 loss Bama team might jump an undefeated OSU team.

Sure they would. That would be the best case for Oregon , if they win out

Why wouldn't they? They're third in the BCS. A team above them would lose and it would help their SOS at the same time.

Just think what a massacre it would be if Ohio State were to meet any of those three teams in the title! They'd get curb-stomped by all three.

No chance OSU goes before FSU or Oregon.

Yeah... thinking about it a little more I can see them getting in over OSU especially if their Freshman QB keeps playing like he is and potentially winning the Heisman.

The Ducks may want the opportunity to blast Bama. I would love to see that. Oh well.... After we win today that won't happen. GBO!!!

Take it from someone who is surrounded by Duck fans: the state of Oregon will host the second-loudest spontaneous celebration in the country if we beat Bama. They have a lot of confidence in their team, but most of them are smart enough to know their chances are vastly improved by not having to go through Bama.

And they will use their win over us as validation that they are as good as any SEC team. We beat Bama and they killed us, etc.

Yeah. That will be their take... but UT isn't the same team now as they were then. But we'd do it too if the roles were reversed.
