Recruiting Forum: Football Talk VIII

I hope we get a chance to wreck some team's SEC and title hopes. Whether that be Bama or Mizzou doesn't matter.

I'd love for team 117 to be known as the team who wrecked Bama and Mizzou's title hopes. I don't care if we end up with an Oregon FSU title game cause of it.

You're awful butthurt about the whole ordeal. So now you singing his praises? You advised me to not get too hyped about him so how about you not hug Alabamas nuts so much then. You hyped for them after they allowed over 40 to A&M? You just hate fla state and Jameis. It's ok if you do I guess but it is kind of weird to see a supposed vol fan defending ala. By all rights it should be a good game. Fsu's defense is legit and ala hasn't faced a team as talented as fsu's yet. You'll get over it son. You knocked him I said you were stupid to be so dismissive of him, then you try to bring in some ancillary point which has nothing to do with his talent . You brought up transitive earlier, you should master deductive first

Black Jesus should be the front runner for the Heisman right now. I don't think I've ever seen a freshmen play the position as good as he is right now.

Surely to god he cannot keep up this pace. Clemson foreshadowed some with their struggles against bc, etc., but Jameis has not so far

There last real test will be Miami in two weeks. If he has another amazing prime-time performance like Clemson he will lock up the trophy. He is going to make an NFL GM very happy at the end of next season.

His accuracy and ball placement is off the charts. There were some throws I just had my jaw drop on. He is that good, him and Teddy are my favorite QBs this season.

Benjamin dropped a perfect one as well or it would have been 58

They'll hammer Miami

He had this one throw in the Clemson game where he had a LB I believe in perfect coverage on one his receivers and he threw it exactly where it needed to be placed. Had that been any other QB I think it would have been an INT.

I'm so glad he didn't go to Bama or anyone else in the SEC.

And another where it looked like it was a bad throw but was away from the coverage... Still completed. He made the wr make a hard catch but that was his only play

This should be interesting.

Also, fwiw, the bama spread vs UT has gone up to 28.5. Surprised me. I figured it'd drop a few points if anything. Just more motivation for Butch and 117.

Wow! So the experts are expecting us to beat Bama by 29 points now. I would have said just 3 or 7, but yeah, I can see us beating that ass by nearly 30 as well.

One thing that is always interesting to watch in recruiting is what happens to kids committed to schools that lose their head coach (or highly visible coordinators). UVA's Mike London comes to mind.
