Most people are not Adrian Peterson

He will miss all of summer camp and first past of fall/season, at least

No way he makes an impact in the SEC next season.

This is unfortunate. I was looking forward to him in orange more than most others. Hopefully he can come back after the grey shirt and be a factor. That being said, if we're going to try and replace him in this class, I hope we put the full court press on Chris James.

James is one of my favorites as well. That vid of him working out jumping up onto that platform made me go.. Wait.. Wut?

There is also that mental game they have to go through... especially a RB who has to make so many cuts and has people diving at your knees.

Curt Maggitt still isn't ready.

It's better for Paulk to be 100% Best of luck! :hi:

That is awful to hear. Hope he gets healthy soon and has a speedy recovery. I still want him in this class, but we need to push for Derrell Scott. JMO. Harsh reality of things.

We definately need to take another RB. It's no guarantee that Hurd will be 100% by the start of next season. We need to make a push for Scott or James. Maybe even roll the dice on Rollins, Ferby, or Palmer

Shoot, at this point, there is no guarantee that either Hurd or Paulk will be full go by the time they get on campus.

I most definitely still want Paulk in this class. But, given the situation, I think taking another RB is going to become more of a reality soon.

I like James as well, fast and elusive. Derrell Scott would an excellent pick up, he has a good all around game. And last report that I saw he had a 4.4-4.5 forty. He seems to be interested in us.

Id also love to get Daryl Rollins on this team somehow someway. He can make plays at the next level.

I would really like us to try to get in the game for Derrell Scott. He's a NC kid, so he's not far away. He's been big on USCe for a while, and they are the clear leader. I don't want to play a backfield of Davis and Scott. That's on a healthy Gurley and Marshall level.

Another kid I think we should look at is Daryl Rollins. His stats are very impressive, despite the competition. His workout numbers are great, and they aren't a fluke as he's reproduced the numbers multiple times at camps. The only sign for concern there is his height. He's listed at 5'8", and those numbers are usually a little inflated. Maybe someone on here could vouch for his height?

Last, I say we continue to recruit Akeem Judd (JUCO RB and Ole Miss commit). Apparently, our coaches are still in contact with him, and he's still listening. He can come in and contribute right away, IMO.

imo you don't even mess around and grey shirt him. He is school worthy front the jump. You want him up here with the team rehabbing with the team doctors and Pts

IYO, do we start pushing for another RB (regardless of giving Paulk a GS or not)? This assumes he won't contribute in Y1.

I want he rehabbing at UT as well. I also don't want him as basically a "free agent". He's too good of a back.

If someone is grayshirting, they will be on campus and practicing with the team, but just paying their own way. Can't they get UT medical attention?
