Anybody tailgate for basketball? If so, where's the best place to be without a parking pass? I was unaware, until I went to the Lipscomb game, that all the parking was reserved for hoops, as well.
God I love irony!
Doc, I think we need to put something big together for the Georgia game. A massive VN tailgate.
It's good to be able to look back on 2005 and laugh. I guess preseason top-3 hype and orange-tinted shades had a lot of us dreaming big. We still dream, but in the words of Clay Walker, it's "with our eyes wide open," nowadays.
Glad you stopped by the thread; feel free to contribute your gameday traditions as you see fit!
im still debating on whether or not to go. i don't have tickets, but i don't think it will be too much of an issue once i got to town, and i'd definitely be down with meeting up for drink.
as far as where....depending on how early people want to get there, the parking lot at the 1st TN bank on the strip is a good central location or maybe behind Houndog's on 17th, in those parking lots....?
I don't think it is technically "crashing" if we bring beer.My friend that I am attending the game with is doing a tailgate in the parking lot behind the restaurant formerly known as O'Charleys. I can't totally ditch him because he is my ticket source and place to stay. I could definitely swing the 1st TN bank idea...or VN could just crash his.
