Freak has done something really cool for us, put all of the O and D plays on youtube. So instead of having to watch the entire game you can watch all of the offensive plays from the WKU game in 9 minutes and all of the defensive plays in 12 minutes. Thanks, Freak!

I don’t enjoy listening to “Captain Obvious” Gary Danielson. Not sure if he will be the one covering this game. Even though Verne isn’t very good at least he doesn’t have Gary’s know it all attitude. We have played in the CBS 3:30 slot 58 times. Lost 30 times, won 28 with a .483 win%. Much better on the evening ESPN slots.

Its been years since we've won, period, CBS, ESPN, what have you...we're on out way back but until the talent and depth are up to par, we'll continue to struggle with big games.

Although, game time on Saturday, I'll have myself convinced we've got a shot to win so...who knows.

If we hold Oregon under 50 points and Mariota and the offensive starters have to play into the 4th Quarter... I'll be impressed.

As for the offense, we need to run for 250+ yards. If we throw for over 150 yards, I'll be surprised.

This. I believe the depth of our defense will hurt us more than the talent of our starters. I think Couch, Hood and McCullers could be sucking wind in the first quarter.

Maggitt and Smith won't be in game shape either.

im of the people that believe weve been hiding our playbook through both games just to open it up against Oregon. when we first heard about the 2 and 3 TE sets, the FB and the Wildcat, everyone was saying they couldnt wait to see it against WKU. i was the one saying we would wait to use them against Oregon because it will probably take power football to beat them

Power football and then some. I still say we have an outside shot, if we catch them off guard with a playbook that hasn't had to much of it shown. Slim chance, but at least it's a chance.

BTW....good weekly summary thread. Love reading your stuff.

I'm right there with you. I don't even think the guy is some kind of anti-UT homer, he's just not good. He either fails to properly research things, or just doesn't bother.

Like in the run up to the WKU game, he made the statement that "WKU walked in to Lexington and beat Kentucky." How is it your job to cover a single 14 team league and you write something like that?

Please please be out for our game. But hope he's better and 100% healthy after our game though.
Before some of you that are gonna say you hope fl is at there best when we play them. I could care less if thier entire first team doesn't play and we still barely beat them. Just any kind of win over uf would be huge
