Ok guys here is the way I see 2014. I know most here think it might get worse before it gets better but I have a much better outlook.

Secondary will flat out be elite. Top 3rd of the SEC IMO

LB biggest worry especially if AJ goes to the nfl.

DL will be much better than anybody is giving us credit for. I am very high on miller and williams.

OL is second biggest worry but reports of crowder and wiseman give me huge optimism here.

WR no worries at all. This frosh class is going to be elite

RB lane along with Hurd and Paulk will be just fine.

In Butch I trust on the QB! No doubt in my mind we have at least one elite QB on campus now. Jones will develop that guy by next year!

I am no longer in the camp of just hoping we get 6 wins in both this year and next.

6 wins this year followed by 8-9 next year is very reasonable IMO.

I posted during the game that I saw maggit in the game. I am nearly certain it was walls(58) not 56. Anybody know for sure if maggit did or didn't play??

I like tge design, but I freakin hate those Adidas Jerseys. 3, 6, 8, and 9 all look the same to me even on an HD TV.

I did see Saulsberry in the game and playing well. That's good to see for next year. Did not notice Maggit.

I think we are in for a wild year in the SEC. I have no idea who will come out on top of each division. Also think every SEC team will have at least 1 loss and the league won't be represented in the national title game unfortunately.

Vandy not looking terrible tonight, but I swear, AP looks even worse this week than last week.

Nice interception just now though. Hopefully they can at least score on Vandy.

Not really directed at you its the freaking out by some and the complaining. Example seven turnovers and still questioning the defense. That wasn't you.

Questioning the defense is warranted, but that shouldn't take away from their performance today. We're improving and its noticeable but we've played Austin Peay and Western Kentucky. Improving from last year is akin to a cornerback running a 5.2 40 when he ran a 6 flat last year.

I'm celebrating and enjoying it while I can, because a storm is gathering in the form effing Donald Duck on the horizon...

FWIW. though...Sutton looks like he's REALLY going to be good. :)

Bo Wallace get hurt? Four different names in the passing stats, figured two were trick plays but the other guy just threw a pick and if the other team scores only two possesion games

What do you guys think about the zone read going forward?

Do you think we've seen the qb actually keeping the ball and running so little (not sure if they kept it any today) on purpose because CBJ just doesn't want to risk getting Worley or Peterman hurt?
Or
Do you think it has just been the correct read every time by the qb? (highly unlikely, imo)
Or
Is it because CBJ didn't want Oregon to have much film of our qb running on that play for some reason? (not sure what difference that would make)

What's the reason our QB's haven't been running the ball on the zone reads? Maybe it's not a big deal right now because our RBs are usually getting good yardage but it seems a little weird to me that as many times as we've ran it the qb has kept it so few times. What do you guys think?

to add to this, is it me or is the offense not as fast paced as we anticipated it being?

Combination, IMO.

With Worley I'm pretty sure the read is just to keep defenses honest. He's not Michael Vick or even Connor Shaw.

I think today we just didn't need to keep them honest because we had very few negative plays and it seemed like our OLine was doing a pretty good job of making room to run.

In that situation, I think you just don't risk injury to your QB in that situation.

Just a guess.

Stoops going to find a way to prove why his time has passed him by in this game. They are going to blow this one
