I think it was obvious to everyone else that's what he meant. Multiple pages of argument and repeated callbacks to it seem a little excessive.
Bama is going to throttle A&M. Saban has been game planning for that matchup since the loss. Blowout coming.
Yeah, but I think that's true for any system. I don't see why it would be worse for us. As long as we've got SEC level skill players and QB, our passing game will be fine.
You think Bama has the personnel to slow them down? Where are the CBs?
I am with you. The question I have that is being discussed does the QB have to have freakish talent for the offense to win championships. So far History suggest that spread offenses have to have just that to be elite weekend and week out In the SEC.

Bama has recruited at the top of CFB since Saban got there, I don't know their names or how it will happen, but I'll be shocked if Bama doesn't come out 100x more prepared for that game than they looked vs. VT. You really think Saban is going to let JM play the same game he played last year? I wouldn't be surprised if JM ends up in the locker room with an injury before the game is over. Bama is coming after him and his spoiled brat attitude is going to get punched in the mouth all up and down his own field. JMO
I think just like in any system, an elite QB makes things a lot easier and can cover up some issues elsewhere, but a solid QB who can take what the defense gives him in the pass game and get 5-10 rushing yards to keep the defense honest when he's left open in the read option can succeed also.
I'm not so convinced. It wouldn't surprise me if you're right, but it also wouldn't surprise me if Bama has trouble scoring with TAMU.
