There was no valid question. The entire second team will never be in the game at the same time in a critical game.

BB:"I've never seen more fans complain about the second unit than I've seen on this board. I don't get it. Everyone knows most of those kids won't play. But folks are whining like we're depending on those kids."

SO those kids wont play and be counted on???

I found another to add to the positive list:

Austin Peay had not been shut out since 2005 (84 games). Tennessee was the only SEC team to shut out an opponent this week. The win marked Tennessee's 800th win.

Be careful Tim. With that statement you may be criticized for partaking in too much Kool-Aid.

Go VOLS!!!
Rangers Lead The Way!! :salute:

My fault. I wasn't talking about that. You're right that's ridiculous. I was referring to a rant over asking whether or not this offense can work consistently and what would it take. Especially with a QB other than Tebow and Manziel. Now if that's a stupid question tell me and STFU.

Dark that falls into the "yet to be determined" category. I choose to believe.

So are you saying this style of offense hasn't been used yet in the SEC? I keep hearing Florida and A&M and Auburn. Is this the same offense or not?

Can't do GIFs from the ole phone here. But the Butthurt is palpable. Butthurt GIFs = MAXIMUM likes IMO. Jmo, tifwiw

I ask this earlier but no answer.

Would that offense be as successful in today's SEC?

IMO yes, because it was balanced. That offense ran the ball very well. Can't remember the name of that lil 5' nothing beast RB they had. He was relentless. They had two good backs.

No you have stumbled into the: If you ask a valid question we will bash you zone because you should only say positive things thread. Don't ask a legitimate question about the offense. Breakerboy is the only one with sense thus far.

Yes, because clearly we should be very upset after a 45-0 victory.

I can buy that

My thoughts are with the elite secondaries in the league now without the threat of the QB run the QB must have elite arm strength to succeed now. Not a strong opinion just my impression

I can honestly see that argument. But they didn't just start jamming the box with 8. Keep in mind, Huepel (sp.) IIRC wasn't much of a running threat. But I'm pretty sure they had a power run game even though it was a spread style. Similar to what CBJ wants. That's why I could see it working. Where as the UF flying Teblows had an edge run game. And they did have the 4.3 RBs to pull it off, but without that it could be problems. Similar to Oregon....they require 4.3 guys in their edge run style. IMO that Oklahoma team could have had a slow 240lb bruiser and still made it work. I think the same could be said about our system. Not so sure about the old UF spread.

Apparently not.

I give saturday night an A- grade wise. To What BB was saying earlier the few issues we saw were certainly not a surprise except for one that I don't think has been discussed.

Our kick off coverage team seemed a little suspect. Anybody else feel that way?

Palardy kicked wonderfully but the coverage worried me
