I bet his teammates love him. They immediately started to play better on both sides when he was put in.

He's a great player so obviously the offense is better with him. The defense went in at halftime and got their mess together. I don't think it has anything to do with loving Manziel as a teammate.

I think we will beat Bama every year :)

but then again I think we will win the NC also:lolabove:

We are 1-0, so we are still in the running.

OAN: I met a new client with my job today, and he is from Knoxville originally. We got to talking about football and the past, etc. He kept talking about how our fan base was already all over Kiffin and Dooley within a few months of them taking the head coaching job. Made the comment that he was so tired of things, and liked how Saban runs the program so much at Bama, that he is seriously thinking about turning his support to Bama. I almost jumped out of my truck and knocked him upside the head!! As politely as I could, I told him to never turn to the Darkside no matter what..and then in my mind, I Butch-slapped him. :)

Oh you are so defensive minded BB. :)

Btw, I didn't get the opportunity yet to go back and watch the secondary closely. Your thoughts on Sutton and Coleman's play?

not BB, but he noted last night that it is totally fine that we didn't hear Sutton's # called much.

And in my opinion, there just isn't a whole lot you can take away from last night's game when you consider the vanilla + talent difference + them not playing near a full game.

Sutton is a big good sized CB. But they didn't throw at him. Saw Foreman on the bad end of some plays. But he continued to compete. And showed athleticism on the fumble scoop(runner was ruled down). But I don't remember seeing either CB unless it was after the play was done.

The secondary played a lot and you can tell CWM is coaching them. The safeties are coming up with bad intentions. Ready to see them this week.

I just wish we had the stable of running backs to effectively wear teams out. Maybe a third will emerge.

Obviously the roster isn't good enough. Dudes we have will be fun to watch. It's on soon.

Summerhill did not look bad to me. He was running behind 2nd and 3rd stringers too

One of TA&M's linemen should take ole Johnny and have a "discussion" about his ways.

You need leadership like that within a team to keep ego's in check

I like the Marcus Jackson news. Really hope it works out.

For the following two years, having Jackson and Weismann at guard sounds awesome. Especially if we can pull Blair and have him at LT for those two years as well.
