I have very few 300WSM ammo, cant hardly find it anywhere. Thats what I use most of the time, maybe not this year.

I try not to buy ammo online. Had a bad experience with it once. Besides, the Ruger 300SM,s are so picky with ammo, I wouldnt trust doing that.

I got invited to eradicate some hogs from a farm in south GA in December. I gonna have more wild pork than I know what to do with. I can't decide between the AK or the old Mauser rifle though. Hell, this might just give me an excuse to buy another gun.

That's what I have been told. I was to to keep them if they are 120 or less. If they weigh more leave em laying. I have never done a hog hunt but I'm excited. This is a good way to take out some Rambo dreams on some hogs. I'm more of a bird hunter so I'm used to the 'straight laced' hunts.

you guys using dogs? A word to the wise, be careful, a hog can attack and cut your ass in a heartbeat. They are very aggressive when cornered. I have seen dogs cut open and their guts torn out before they know whats going on. Hog hunting is a dangerous gig.

I don't know yet about the dogs. The farm owner said that they usually just pop a big sow and wait. He said the rest of the hogs will come to her and them we just pop them off. Move to another are of the farm and repeat. We will be a peanut farm that has acreage in the thousands.


I bet peanut fed pork is mighty tasty...
