I think we are set up to surprise some folks. Capable coaching would have had us at 8-9 wins last year. I think we can get to 8 this year if as you mentioned, the injuries are avoided.

Good practice report and player interviews today. First time I felt (briefly) like something better than 6-6 may be possible. We will see come game time.

On why North wasn't with the 1st team WRs.

"Just for a clarity's purpose, that lineup of wideouts was on the field while North was busy doing field goal kicking block work as he and Woody Quinn were with them practicing blocking kicks.

In an earlier portion of practice we saw Howard, North and Croom as the first team receivers while Downs was at tight end. It's hard to see North not lining up on the first play against Austin Peay."

The real crazy part will be the (2) turnovers our offense has that keeps it from becoming a blowout. 45-23 looks better, but I think the offense has a couple slip ups. 31-23 still sends the message that Tennessee is on it's way back.
