What kind of surgery Windy?

I'm milking my eye four times a day for three weeks. Then see the doc and see what progress we've made. ugh.

I had to start drops 4 times a day yesterday with one solution. I think after the surgery it will be 3-4 solutions and 3 oral medications!!

I'm having prk in my left eye. My eyes overhealed because of my high immune system after lasik. It's not a problem as long as it doesn't affect my eyesight, which it did in my left eye. Vision finally leveled out so now the surgery can happen. Luckily this was caught early on before my year anniversary so I don't have to pay for this surgery, its on the doc this time!

Nice! Sucks on all the meds though.

Trying something different this morning. I usually eat something within 30 min of my feet hitting the floor. Been awake since 5:35 with nothing but coffee. About to have 2 pieces of cinnamon toast and a banana. My stomach has been mad for the last 2 hrs. Skipped my protein shake after my workout(light) as well.

I am a big breakfast person so I cannot skip breakfast at all. I would be worthless if I skipped breakfast or just had a glass of milk or something.

I was reading an article on eating breakfast yesterday. It said that people that eat an early breakfast tend to take in more calories, carbs than those that eat a later breakfast. Mainly due to teh fact that the early breakfast people tend to snack more throughout the day becasue their breakfast is gone quicker.

My corworkers make fun of me for not having breakfast until about 10ish.

I survived. Wouldn't want to do it every day though. I drank 3 cups of coffee between 8 and 10. I couldn't do it if I did a hard workout. Here lately I've had a snack on the way to work, my protein shake right after my shower, and then I'll eat a snack around 9:30.

It's pretty sad but I am pretty much on an eating schedule. I eat breakfast about 6:30 everyday, then at 9 I have two pieces of fruit, then at 11 I eat lunch, then around two I usually have almonds or yogurt, around 4:30 I will have my accerlade if I am running or if I am not running I will eat some banannas, 6:30 or so I will have dinner and then 8 I will have a snack that is high in protein something with PB or the like.

I know I know it's sad but I have been doing it for over two years now and that's what my body it used to so it's easy to do.

South Beach? When I'm being diligent, that's how I eat too.

I wish I had a more "normal" schedule. With my hrs changing from day to day and my wife being off for the summer, and a week here and there, it's tough.

All about getting into a routine. I got into a routine int he summer too...

6:30 Rollover
7:30 Get up
8:30 Arrive at work
11:30 Lunch
4-5 pm depending I'd leave work and hit the Pig for beer
9pm Arrive at home
9:15pm Pizza rolls

Which is why I'm back on the wagon this week. Easy to gain, hard as hell to lose it

The first month or so I was eating like this it was soooo hard. I was only giving myself one cheat day a week and the rest of the time I was on diet and did not steer away from it. I looked forward to that cheat day ever week. I am not as strict on myself now but I still stick pretty close to the diet and what to eat. It's funny how my body has changed because now when I eat bad for you/good tasting food I physically feel bad. I feel sluggish and don't have any energy, but when I eat right I feel better and have plenty of energy.

When I first started trying to lose weight I thought I was never going to be able to lose it all. I ended up not stepping on a scale but maybe three times total during that 8 or 9 month period because it can discourage you when you step on there and didn't lose any weight but you physically feel like you did and you are feeling better about yourself. I have put about ten pounds back on due to various things but I really want to lose ten pounds back because at that weight I felt like a champ.

I need to lose 15 to feel good again. I need to lose 25 to look good again.

Honestly I got the diet from my BIL's trainer he was using a few years ago. My BIL used it to lose about 40 lbs so I figured I would try it too. I ended up losing about 55 lbs in 8 to 9 months.

Cool.

South Beach teaches you to eat things that keep your blood sugar levels as stable as possible. Sets you up for success once you get a handle on what to eat and what not to eat.
