If they are drinking in a bar, they should be 21 years old. That makes them a grown man in my book. If they are drinking in a bar and under 21, they have alot more issues than a coach catching them IMO. Locked up is alot worse than a suspension.
If you're so weak minded that you can't avoid a bar for four months, you need a good punishment to toughen you up. Blows my mind that you think that's impossible for 18 year olds.
In the Orange and White Game and last night's practice, presumed #Vol starting QB Justin Worley was 13-36 (36% completion rate).
I think this might be why the fans are not thrilled with Worley.
Tyler Bray was 14-26 in last year's O&W game in an offense he had been in for 3 years with veteran WR's and against the worst defense in UT history. Preseason stats aren't everything. I'll ride with whomever Butch and Co. decide on.
No one is going to prison for underage consumption..

Sure about that?
Tennessee law treats underage drinking very seriously, classifying it as a Class A misdemeanor, the highest of all possible classifications. Those convicted of drinking under the age of 21 face jail time up to a maximum of 11 months and 29 days in addition to other penalties.
And going to one on occasion doesn't prove anything about any 18-22 year old kids dedication to winning a championship. Just curious when is the last time you have been closely associated with a Division 1 athlete if ever??

Lol, they might be technically allowed to dole out those types of punishments. However, nobody will actually end up facing prison time for underage consumption.
I would imagine there are alot of people sitting in jail right now for underage drinking. The time they have to spend there varies I am sure. Thinking you can't go to jail for it is just not accurate at all.

I have to agree with Bruin (never thought that'd happen). Butch is just setting himself up for disappointment with the no bars rule.
It has everything to do with this. So it's safe to assume your knowledge of a D1 lockerroom is very limited since you didn't want to answer the question.
First off, I meant under age consumption...rather than overage, lol. People initially get arrested and make bond. They'll often get 11-29 probation. But to sit here and say they are regularly handing out a year in jail for 1st offense underage consumption....I can't see it, sorry.
