Black uniform would look awesome with some thought put into them instead of the rush job like they did when Kiffin was here.

I don't like the white helmet it looks out of place I like the carbon fiber helmet with the power T on it.

I agree about the helmet. They probably thought keeping the traditional white helmet would appease but I think they have to match the helmet with the uni.... the gray (ahem, smokey) carbon fiber with the orange power T IMHO.

I disagree. White helmet contrast with jersey looks good IMO. Makes colors pop

A freshman in high school could play over Teague though

Really you're so funny guy. But I have better things to do with my time than deal with someone like you person. :) Don't know what's going on with VolInArizona either but hope he has a great weekend. :)

Now on to bigger and better things like these two freshmen CBs. Ready to see them in action this year. Sutton and Foreman will be coached up well too.

You guys are acting toward Tee like you would with a girl that dumped you. C'mon now. Tee was the QB of our Nat'l Championship Team! He made a career decision that was best for him and his family. We shouldn't be hating on him. Things worked out for the best.

Love Tee for leading that '98 team to the Natty. However, I disagree that he made the career decision that was best for him... he handled that situation with Butch very poorly and chose going back to a lame duck coach and a sinking ship over the opportunity to come coach at his alma mater for a coach who, after accepting the job, virtually made it his first priority to get Tee on the staff.

I do agree that it worked out for the best though... I think Gillespie is a very good RB coach and a great addition to the staff. That being said, I wish Tee the best and hope to see him on the sidelines in Neyland one day.

Lookin good.

Lets hear from some of the oldies on here. What do you think?

I've been around a long time and been going to games a long time and I do like the Orange & White unis the most BUT the Orange & Gray have a LOT of BADNESS (is that a word?) to them! It's also great for player moral which had dwindled down to nothing before Butch.

Got Coach Z in place of Tee, who I'm very impressed with. I never would have thought it, but I think you're right that it has worked out best with Gillespie over Graham as well. Time will tell, for sure...

Coach Z is known as being a great WR coach. Most people I saw on here had a problem with him being recruiting Coord over Graham, which in my mind probably pissed Jay off and was a big factor as to him leaving. I admit I scratched my head on the decision by Jones, but it goes to show Jones is a heck of a lot smarter then I am when it comes to football decisions. Coach Z is an amazing coach for us and we better be willing to pay up when the time comes along with Coach Thig.

Indeed. Do you have any opinions on Tino Thomas or Geraldo Orta? We need them for depth.

I wasn't up for a change, but have to admit, they're pretty sweet looking. I think that white carbon fiber looking helmet would be the cap on the bottle.

Ill say this, orta will stick his head in there.... Uhh that came out wrong... Last year he would come up and hit hard for a smaller guy. I kept thinking he was going to hurt himself, but he always bounced right up. I sure hope Tino develops under WM. really need him now after the riyhad injury

Orta has loose hips too. Looks like one of if not the best athlete in the defensive backfield when you couple it with his speed. Don't know why he hasn't been tried at CB. Thomas on the other hand seems like he gets hurt or something annually. Sorta like Meredith.....

This is just my opinion.....again, just my opinion, but I don't think Ryhad is injured. I think he has an undiagnosed medical condition. Hopefully it's not career ending or anything. But random swelling and pain of calves doesn't just happen, especially to someone as fit as him. Could be a cardiac or kidney issue. Worst case scenario would be a clot....which often present in a very similar fashion. I hope it works out for the kid.

Yeah I don't know exactly what it is...just called it an injury because its keeping him from seeing the field.

Meredith... My god, can't we just go ahead and surgically repair his hammy already?

Oh yeah, I wasn't necessarily correcting you so to speak. I'm just saying, I'll be happy if he plays again. And I'm 100% serious.

NB4 someone tells me to step back from the ledge.
